Bad wig aside … great to have a living legend like Sammy in the fold... … Mike Bloomberg is the best candidate to defeat President Trump in November. His character and resolve drove him to build a business from scratch into a multibillion-dollar company and weather the political crossfires as New York's mayor for 12 years. ... Further, Bloomberg's ability to finance his own campaign means he can compete aggressively against Trump's massive political machine, which has been stockpiling money and organizing supporters since Trump's first day in office. ... When he wins, he will owe no favors to anyone, nor will he be beholden to any special interest. He will make sure our government regains the trust of the American people, restores our standing in the world, and helps all Americans lead better and happier lives. ... https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/14/opin...ic-candidate-endorsement-donaldson/index.html
I actually matched with Bloomberg on a political test site. However, even with his experience and having some similar positions, there is nothing he is about that gets me excited. He doesn't seem very likable and now he is getting #MeToo-ed a little bit. And it certainly doesn't help he is blatantly trying to buy the democratic nomination with a blanket self-funded ads. All he is doing is fracturing the moderate/mainstream wing of the democratic field even further while Bernie continues to unite the far left. The best thing we can do if we don't want to see a Bernie nomination is to all get behind Joe Biden.
I really don't like Trump at all and don't like Bernie even more. At least I am more meh about Biden. With how divided congress is, I doubt either one will be doing very much if they are elected in 2020.
The Drudge Report has speculated that Bloomberg may ask Hillary to be his running mate, based on this: The Drudge Report said sources within the Bloomberg campaign reported he was even considering changing his official address from New York to Colorado or Florida, because the constitution said a candidate and their running mate ought not to live in the same state. When asked about it, Bloomberg' s campaign wouldn't rule it out: Mr Bloomberg’s campaign refused to rule out the possibility. In a statement sent to The Independent and other media, his communications director, Jason Schechter, said: “We are focused on the primary and the debate, not VP speculation.” https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.in...ate-2020-democratic-primary-a9337746.html?amp This would be political suicide for Bloomberg. The "not Hillary" voters would again vote for Trump and Trump wins again.
Yo seniors … you trust the republican carnival barker for another four years? https://twitter.com/i/status/1229159093488816128
Bloomberg is the pro-establishment version of Trump. If you like the elitist corporate global authoritarian progressive status quo, he's ur man.
Sounds like the angry old man from VT needs to start doing a lil more to rein-in these out-of-control cowards who support him... https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/07/politics/bernie-sanders-social-media-attacks-invs/index.html
trump is beatable cuz he's such an epic POS. But pitting a socialist like Sanders against him is foolish and WAY too risky. Hell, Sanders barely beat Rookie Pete in his backyard (NH) last week. Make no mistake, trump and the republicans would like NOTHING MORE than to face socialist Sanders this fall. Unfortunately, Joe is on the ropes … and may get KOed in SC. Pete and Amy just aren't top-of-the-ticket material, in my estimation. All things considered, MIKE is clearly our best chance to make the disgraced republican incumbent a one-termer. ...Sanders’s plan calls for eliminating private health-insurance and paying more taxes. It’s an electoral loser — it’s the super-yacht we can’t afford and don’t need right now — whereas promising to defend and expand the Affordable Care Act is a proven winner that helped Democrats retake the House in 2018. As if that weren’t bad enough, Sanders carries decades of ideological baggage, having in the past praised Communist regimes and joined a socialist party that took Iran’s side during the Iranian hostage crisis. Sanders’ Democratic opponents haven’t exploited this record because they are terrified of offending Sanders’s supporters. You can bet that Trump won’t have any such reticence. He is champing at the bit to run against “Crazy Bernie.” His supporters in South Carolina are even helping Sanders in that state’s Democratic primary. ... https://www.washingtonpost.com/opin...-risk-we-cant-run-this-moment-national-peril/
Bloomberg is a Bolshevik just like Bernie They’re 95 percent identical I am non religious but Jewish and I never vote for these 2 Jewish schmendricks
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/elec...bate-in-las-vegas/ar-BB1071yL?ocid=spartandhp The screwing over of Bernie has now really begun. And the Dem party will implode if it continues.
Not without the moderate vote. An avowed socialist is not getting their vote. The DNC is already sending their talking heads out to try and downplay his socialism. Problem is that Bernie is loud and proud and won’t let that occur. If he gets the nomination he will be even more embolden and mega socialist Bernie will emerge! Trump will eat his lunch in debates with that kinda of ammo.
Trump: ....and then I file bankruptcy and leave town, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha!!!! Bloomberg: You're the boss! I sure would like to see the look on those contractors' faces when you filed! Ha, Ha, Ha. Who would of known? Ha, Ha, Ha!!!
There's only ONE Dem candidate who scares the sh*t out of dirty bone spurs and his right-wing flunkies now. And it sure as hell ain't the socialist from Vermont... https://thehill.com/homenews/admini...erg-of-illegally-buying-democratic-nomination
Will be great to see Mike up on that debate stage tomorrow night in Vegas. I hear that Ms. IRRELEVANT (Liz Warren) called Mike an "egomaniac" today on twitter. Pretty rich coming from a candidate who couldn't even beat Amy in New England last week but still thinks she has a place in the race ... LOL It's OVER, Liz! You weren't even able to compete with socialist Sanders in the far-left lane. Voters will only make you look like an even bigger CHUMP the longer you stay in this thing...
Trump will have fun running against his old Republican buddy. Bloomberg is paying for a bunch of fluff memes and standard political TV ads with no substantive policy points. Wait 'til Bloomy appears in his first debate tomorrow night and gets attacked by all the Dems. The moderators are also unlikely to throw him softballs. Bloomberg may be a flash in the pan once he has to start answering questions.
Yes. It certainly will be great entertainment. Will they let him bring his customized sawed-off lectern so he can reach the microphone, or will they give him a crate to stand on at the big-people lectern?
