No way! It’s a news article about his political future at a political event with religious leaders. The article covered both political and religious matters making it hybrid and my choice. Republicans tend to wear both our politics and our religion on our sleeves and often talk both at the same event. It drives militant secularists most of whom are not conservatives crazy.

You will have to mourn many things.

Mostly because there won't be anyone more xenophobic, more egocentric, more demagogic and more hateful than Trump.

So everyone MUST own a GUN since to NOT own a gun would be freedom FROM the "protected right" to own a gun according to YOUR own ILLOGICAL position above.

Do you have freedom FROM owning a gun? Yes or no?

If YOU answer YES then everyone has freedom FROM religion too.

The DECLINE in Christianity parallels the DECLINE in Q-GOP affiliation BECAUSE of what you are BRAGGING about.

Our Founding Fathers ERECTED a WALL of SEPARATION between the CHURCH and the STATE for a REASON.

That REASON was BECAUSE theists CANNOT be TRUSTED to UPHOLD the RIGHTS of individuals.

That is WHY we have a SECULAR government of We the People instead.

The MAJORITY of We the People do NOT want a THEOCRACY which is WHY we have REJECTED the Q-GOP.

Like I have the freedom to choose to buy a gun or not, I have the freedom to believe and practice a religion of no religion at all. Thus freedom of religion. There is absolute freedom of religion. There can be no absolute freedom from it. For a very simple reason. In order for you to have freedom from religion you would have to suppress another’s freedom of speech or expression in order to protect you from any exposure to religion. There is no way to prevent you from hearing a street preacher as you go down a city street or from hearing a Christian concert in a park. Just like you can’t guarantee that no door knob religious message will be left at your door or a post card in your mail box. How could you get freedom from religion when you scan your fm home or car stereo and get a local k-love Christian music station or watch tv and scan through a series of church run tv stations. You can’t block any of that out with out affecting someone else’s rights. So, yes there is freedom of religion to choose no religion at all and not believe, but no, there is no such thing as freedom from religion and there never will be in a free society.

We don’t want a theocracy. We are fine with the constitution and Declaration of Independence as written and amended. We simply expect that our free exercise there of rights and our religious liberty under the RFRA will be respected.

Thank you for CONFIRMING that you do NOT understand the CONCEPT of Freedom OF/FROM Religion.

It APPLIES to the GOVERNMENT of We the People!

Your Q-GOP representatives MUST uphold Freedom FROM Religion in the government of We the People.

To do otherwise would be to VIOLATE the INDIVIDUAL right to Freedom FROM Religion.

To use an EXAMPLE that means that it is a VIOLATION of individual RIGHTS to IMPOSE laws BANNING and/or OBSTRUCTING access to abortions.

Sad that this NEEDS to be EXPLAINED to theists.

Then WHY are YOUR Q-GOP representatives IMPOSING laws BANNING/OBSTRUCTING access to abortions?

That is a VIOLATION of the Constitution.

You forget that I teach U.S. history (including the U.S. Constitution).

The 1st Amendment doesn't say a word forbidding the gassing of protesters.

    My CONDOLENCES to your students.

The RIGHT to PROTEST is PROTECTED by the 1st Amendment.

Sad that you are UNAWARE of something so CLEARLY stipulated in the Constitution.

A fetus is NOT a person ergo an abortion is NOT murder.

There was not and is no absolute ban of any and all religion from every function of government nor will there ever be such a thing. One nation, under God. In God we trust. National days of prayer. The words of our national anthem and just about any other patriotic song, the Declaration of Independence, the last words of the constitution. I could go on. National memorials with religious references.

Abortion is not just a religious issue. Science shows when life begins, when there is a heart beat, when there is a pain threshold, what the baby looks like at various stages of our development. There are non religious people opposed to abortion.

You're typical of others of your "ilk". You insult me rather than address my positions.

The right to protest is NOT unlimited. There are no such things as unlimited rights.
There is no prohibition against using gas against protesters.

So did the original linked article. A lot of religious conservatives quote this one in particular involving religion and political action:

    2 Chronicles 7:14-15
    New International Version

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humblethemselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hearfrom heaven, and I will forgivetheir sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.

There is no religion in the US Constitution.

Once again, take it to the religious section.

They have a constitution section here? The article is a news article about our former Vice President and his political future and what he said to the group he spoke to.

Honestly I'd like to support Mike Pence but find it difficult to trust anyone in US politics, both sides of the isle is so infiltrated with the Illuminati, is there any leader in any country worldwide not owned by the Illuminati...perhaps some.

Even the Vatican is infiltrated...basically I google world leader meetings with the pope and vatican and gives you a yardstick on who's where on the evil scale

So if the Pope is a Satanist illuminati member then let's not kid ourselves that there are not many more who pretend to represent Christianity out there.....
