    Yes. The court documents clearly state that it was someone else that says he said that.

    My "rant" is about why I was posting the various articles. It was in regard to the "news" being "fake". The news isn't "fake".

    The news that he said it is not confirmed the OP suggested he said it and the court documents say someone else said he said it.. That is two different things. And yes your rant..

    It's interesting that you all are so bent on defending this guy. If he were a Muslim or a Mexican, would you be so concerned about what is "alleged"?

    The U.S.-Mexico border isn't protected by militias, it's patrolled by domestic terrorists.

    Maybe not, but the article in the OP is definitely "FAKE".

    Headline: Militia Leader allegedly told FBI they were training to assassinate Obama, Hillary Clinton. Something his lawyer adamantly denies. Court documents show the training comment came from an anonymous source on a tip line....not from the Militia leader. Maybe it is just poor reporting and the author just did not confirm his facts or check his source....or the author is intentionally attempting to mislead in order to cater to their naive viewership Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot of that going around lately....from all news media.

    "Hopkins told members of the Patriots in 2017 that they “were training to assassinate George Soros, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama, because of these individuals support of Antifa,”or anti-fascists, according to the complaint."

    ^ They're alleging he said that. There has been no evidence provided that he did indeed say that. From other articles, that info came from the anonymous FBI tip line.

    Hopkins didn't "allegedly" tell the FBI anything of the sort. It was someone else who told the FBI that Hopkins had said this.
