if true you would not be so afraid to give us the best example of an unsupported BS claim. What do we learn from your fear?
totally mistaken of course Friedman was for capitalism which distributes economic power all over the world in the hands of 50 million corporations. 50 million is not concentrated by the way.
Yes. I have 2 or 3 posters on "ignore" and if you quote them and post a reply, all I see is your reply as though you didn't quote anyone. Now, can you just answer the question?
Sorry, this is a chat board, I'm not tailoring reponses to meet various individual's "ignore" scenarios.
Friedman heavily impacted on Thatcher. She took the National Health Service and used Friedman and co to twin underfunding with the lunacy of private sector management methods within social care. End result? Unsurprisingly, extraordinarily negative. You had increased return for managers and consultant, combined with inefficient contracting out of basic services (with firms profiteering from low wages, neglecting quality of output). It still continuing as right wingers, through ideological limitation, try to destroy successful service.
Medicine costs during WW2 were reasonable. 5 kids were raised by Mom. Her first child was raised by an aunt of hers. Never heard of her until i was in the 5th grade. When told, I told my cousin he was wrong. But he got it from his dad, her brother. If you call living in poverty, being rich, sure she was that rich. Back then, the Government did not pay your doctor or hospital bills. But growing up, i never heard one whimper over doctors bills.
Let's reach out and try to touch Democrats. Do you guys get it yet? Health care rose hundreds of percents over time due to the government having the huge purse, handed to insurance and health care providers enormous revenues. A sure fire formula is like the Tesla car. Even when you make it cost a lot of cash, people still will buy them. Then factor in the Government actually pays people to buy the Tesla so Tesla has no incentive to lower costs.
Capitalism is run by consumers. What do you not like about consumers in charge? Milton took from the Austrian and Chicago model and actually improved on them. How many of his books have you studied? I can recommend his books to you.
Auto makers are at our mercy. If they fail to please us, they might be driven out of business. Remember Packard, Nash and Studebaker? I recall as a young man, they were around as new cars.
I think your commentary leads us to the belief that consumers do not matter. That companies are all that matters. I showed you some one time large companies going out of business. if you think the loss of autos and employees do not matter, i hardly know what to tell you.
most of the fortune 500 companies from the 1950's are out of business. You can bet consumers caused that not owners who obviously would still love to own fortune 500 companies!!
No one's idea of a creator put anyone here to serve you or assist your specific "ignore" list deficiencies. Your decisions are yours to deal with.
For proof, have a look at the spectacular increase in super bug problems in Brit hospitals. That reflected idiotic private sector guff
