If somebody is HUMBLE.....and will admit to what they have been doing wrong.....
this seems to be one the keys to making it into paradise....

Yes... it is hard to imagine that happening.......
but the depth of the cleansing fire that is available is quite astonishing.......

I believe that the following book is a genuine visionary experience of heaven.... and of hell as well.......

To understand the minimum requirements for heaven it may be good to understand about going right into the presence of the Ancient of Days the Father..... as former Covering Cherub Lucifer could do before he fell.....

She was shown about how to become virtually invisible.... .something that somebody out for recognition by men would not be able to describe so well....

An interesting view from a different perspective - what Jesus said about what it takes to become rejected by God.

    Matthew 25:31-end.

Almost all derivatives of Christianity believe salvation may be lost - that conversion is not permanent.

While "works" won't get one saved, there are things humans can do that will cause them to be rejected even after conversion.

I think if someone really had a genuine change of heart, they'd have to go way out of their way to manage to lose their salvation. Probably God would go to extreme stretches to try to bring them back and save them. But they would likely not completely get off the hook from any punishment.

The life of David is one example.

Once there has actually been a genuine conversion, it is very unlikely that person would ever revert back permanently.
Or at least that's just my intuitive hunch.

Obviously there can't be outright evil people in Heaven, so something would have to take place in the interim. (Whether that's repentance, a process of shaping their heart back the way it should be, some miraculous intervention making them not evil anymore, possibly maybe some form of reincarnation, or the Catholic version of purgatory)

I get your point about the life of David.

However, one must also read Matthew 25, specifically from verse 31 on.

The statement there is far stronger than the "golden rule" - it states that as a Christian, must not just be treating people they meet with the respect and support you believe you yourself deserve. It states that one must seek out those who need that support. One must be searching the hospitals and prisons. One must be finding and supporting the "strangers", interpreted to be immigrants who aren't seen as belonging. It's not good enough that one didn't just happen upon somone needing help. And, how one thinks oneself should be treated isn't the issue.

Failing that effort, one may be rejected by God as not having gotten the message.

(This is a seriously powerful piece, and I'd be interested in your interpretation of that scripture if it differs.)

it is from a book written by man. God didn’t even bother to do a foreword or an endorsement. As far as I know there is zero evidence that the Bible speaks for god assuming there even is one.

I wrote my post from the perspective of Christianity. Understanding Christianity is important whether or not there is a god, as so many people ascribe to Christianity in some form or other.

I'm not interested in trying to argue that any god doesn't exist (or does exist). It just doesn't cause progress of any kind, and progress on the issues of today IS possible without winning some argument about who has better religious views.

So, from the perspective of Christianity, Matthew wrote the book by his name, he is multiply confirmed as an apostle and cites Jesus (believed to be the son of God) as stating several important fundamentals.

No Christian can ignore Matthew, and what he said in Matthew 25 must be considered seriously important to every Christian. And, what this chapter says from verse 31 to end of the chapter is HIGHLY relevant to issues we have today, specifically spelling out what God expects of Christians (and all of us, imho).

So from your point of view as supported by Matthew no Trump supporter can be a Christian. I agree totally.

I am a rather strange Christian......
I am a Christian Universalist who believes in reincarnation....
so lots of Christians would say that I am not a real Christian..... so maybe you are onto something there????

no you are clearly not a Christian. You are a person with spiritual beliefs which are your own. Thinking outside the box of organized religion is good.

Well these ideas certainly put another way of looking at the minimum requirements of making it to heaven in a different light!

Enoch could only have been judged by OT rules.

Those rules were changed by Jesus.

According to Christianity, the rules became believing in Jesus/God and following the rules laid down by Jesus and his life, as recorded by Matthew.

In one sense the Old Testament rules were clarified and magnified by Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus - Issa, (peace be upon Him).

    Leviticus 19:18
"Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD."

HOW CAN A MERE HUMAN BEING NOT EVEN BEAR ANY GRUDGE????????

I'm not sure of your point here.

One of the aspects of the OT is that it isn't explicit concerning how lives will be judged to be worthy of heaven. There are guidelines on human thought and behavior, but nothing that specifies a cutoff where god will reject you if you are at all trying. Today, that kind of absolute judgement is not supported by Judaism or Islam, even though they are founded on OT law.

Surely OT law includes social law.

And, I think it would be hard to argue that the NT is a "clarification", at least as interpreted by the majority of Christianity.

Perhaps a chapter by the Apostle Paul may assist you to know what I mean by my stating that the teachings of Messiah Yeshua - Jesus are a clarification of the Jewish scriptures.

    https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/1co/13/1/s_1075001

"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, ora tinkling cymbal.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understandall mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have allfaith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, andthough I give my body to be burned, and have notcharity, it profiteth me nothing.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not;charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

    Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, isnot easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

    Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

In my opinion nobody caught onto the magnification of The Law and the Prophets done by Messiah Yeshua - Jesus better than the Apostle Paul.

    Hi Dennis!

Just wanted to add my few cents to the pot.

The Oneness of All logically means that Oneness is a law unto itself, so notions of wrong/right, good/evil, sin, guilt, repentance, karmic debt, and other dualistic themes become irrelevant.

These concepts have meaning only within the framework of the world in which they are played out (eg, our material/physical world). After it is played out, the entire life experience is reviewed by oneself (life review). During the instant (time is meaningless) life review, you become your own judge as you experience both the choices you made and that of every person/living thing you interacted with. This means if you hurt someone you will also experience exactly what they experienced as if you were in their body. (This is one of the beautiful things about Oneness. We don't own or can own anything. All experiences are/can be shared.) There is no judgement by others, or by some "God" or grand inquisitor. However, during the life review, which takes place within an environment of pure unconditional love (Oneness), this reflection on one's material life (illusion of separation) will naturally elicit material-like feelings of negativity or positivity towards oneself depending on the experience. This is because negativity towards others enhances experiences of separation, while positivity towards others enhances experiences of Oneness. Oneness is our absolute nature, and thus the inevitable direction & destiny of all life, and the instrument behind all our moral dramas.

Often during the life review you will be accompanied by a non-judgmental "guide" (eg, soul-group member, your higher-self, etc.) who will help you through the life review, highlighting areas that were significant even if you thought them to be insignificant. For example you may feel that becoming the founder/CEO of a giant multi-national corporation was significant, while the guide will instead point out the instance when you helped a single person/animal in need, even if in a small way.

You will understand (ie, remember) that your choices in the material world were merely directions you chose to take on the infinite paths of potential experiences laid out before you, and that at no time did you either harm or help anyone, for in no way can anyone be either be harmed or helped. There is only the experience of these things. And you experienced these things based on the choices you made. It is no different than choosing items on a grocery shelf. The items on the shelf were always there, but which items you choose will determine what you would experience. One can also look at life as walking a path through the woods. Would you condemn yourself to eternal damnation because you chose to go down the dark path that was always there, just to see where it would lead? No. All you did was make the choice to go down that dark path, which means having to experience where that path would lead you to. There is no wrong/right to one's choices, there are only the consequences of that choice. But all along that dark path there are infinite paths laid before you for an exit. Yet some choose to remain on that dark path throughout their entire life. Nevertheless, once you depart from the material experience you will know (remember) clearly that neither you nor anyone/anything else were harmed or destroyed, but that you merely had a horrible experience.

Before we come into the material world (ie, "tune into" a physical body), it is necessary that we forget most of what we are, where we came from, and to suppress most of our powers. You can think of your physical body/brain/mind as a step-down transformer that limits your full potential power. It would serve no useful purpose for monkeys with god-like powers to inhabit the material world. Such worlds wouldn't last very long. We come into various realities agreeing to its "rules of the game" (ie, its unique "laws of physics"). However, this doesn't mean there aren't a few "life-hacks" at our disposal for those willing to make the effort to discover & apply them. Also, the material world wouldn't be convincing or believable enough to give us the opportunity to fully embrace the experience of being in it. And through this material experience emerges all the meanings that we create and attach to it, for there is no absolute meaning to existence itself unless we give it meaning.

Hence the meaning behind the phrase, "All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players." It's like watching a movie. But you're not only observing the movie, you're participating in it with all your senses. When it's over you walk away and reflect on what you experienced, but you don't condemn yourself for those experiences.

And for those who have experienced hellish NDE's, these are merely a sort of a smack-in-the-face to wake them up to where their life choices are leading them in the material realm, but are experienced in a much more intense & frightening way to make the "lesson" more meaningful & impactful. These scenes take place in the so-called "Astral" dimensions (a more subtle material-like reality where one's thoughts/beliefs/desires/attachments immediately become one's reality), which is also where you experience all your heavenly & hellish dreams when you sleep. Your higher-self doesn't want you to suffer or to cause suffering, and wants you to transcend & overcome the negative aspects of your "programming" (environmental, genetic, and "past-lives") you came into the material world as your starting "template" or foundation. It constantly gives subtle nudges to direct you on a more positive & productive path, but often these go unnoticed or ignored. In stillness/meditation you can put the busy/fearful mind aside and feel/listen to these nudges (it's important also to listen to your intuition & hunches). So a hellish NDE is actually a left-handed handshake that shakes up the individual who refuses to change their destructive path in life, although many still are not blessed with such an experience and succumb to a material life of self-induced suffering.

The positive NDE experiences, on the other hand, provide a brief glimpse of absolute Oneness (what we call "unconditional love"). This experience & return to the truth of what we are and our true spiritual home will jog the suppressed memories of many experiencers. So it's not uncommon for many NDE'ers to return to their physical body with various new abilities/talents. They also return with a renewed enthusiasm for earthly life because the truth of how artificial & illusory the material world is makes it more fun, and removes its seriousness & fears associated with it. They want to keep living on earth, but are no longer fearful of death.

It's also important to mention attachments. Earthly attachments take the form of feelings of guilt, jealousy, desires, vengeance & hate, fears, religious/other beliefs, emotional attachments, and physical attachments that one is unable to let go of. It should be understood that there is nothing negative about partaking in the many pleasures & treasures of the material world, because that's why we're here in the first place --- to experience the unique elements of the earth/material dimension. There can be an issue, however, if you become attached to them, for any earthly attachments you can't let go of once you leave your physical body you will carry with you beyond physical death and into the Astral realms. These attachments may also keep you earth-bound in such a manner that you become what we call a "ghost" that's attached to a person, thing, or place. Keep in mind that when it's time to leave the material world, it's best to completely release all earthly attachments, for they are only self-induced & based on earthly elements that will hinder (delay) your ability to re-enter your true spiritual home. (Even the heavenly NDE experiences of beautiful scenery are not one's true spiritual home, for these experiences are also of an earthly theme.) When there are attachments, and there are often many because we tend to get too bogged down & lost in the dramas of earth life, they can/will all be worked out or played out within the infinite levels of the Astral realm until one is ready to move on to greater/higher pursuits.

A last note about attachments. The common practice by some groups in the Eastern religions of trying to eliminate all desire is a desire itself, and one that can be viewed as an attachment. One might even view it as arising from a fear --- fear of desire/attachment --- because of a fixation on the impermanence of one's material life, as well as a fear of remaining on the wheel of death & rebirth (reincarnation). The opportunity of having the experience of trying to eliminate desire certainly exists in the earth/material world, but consider the infinite unique opportunities, pleasures & treasures that one could embrace in earth life that one would be missing out on. Regardless, understand you can take nothing with you other than your experiences, and so truly the best time to release all desires/attachments is at physical death when it really matters.
