In addition, life expectancy in the USA increasingly declined since ObamaCare. ObamaCare was created specifically to give property tax relief to the rich by shifting the cost of indigent care to the working class, while also giving an excuse to deny medical care to the poor for not being able to pre-pay the "co- pay" (which can be thousands of dollars) as an end run around President Reagan's requirement that all are treated regardless of whether they can pay.

ObamaCare presented as healthcare to the poor is THE GREATEST fraud ever perpetuated. It was not to provide healthcare to the poor. It was to give excuses to deny medical treatment to the poor for lack of their co-pay, while giving property tax relief the wealthy and wealthy corporations.

Nor does anything you posted dispute the high suicide rate in Japan. A socialized medical system is more affordable if the seriously ill with a serious medical condition such as a stroke, dementia etc kill themselves, ending all medical costs for that person.

The few ACTUAL years difference between Japan and the USA is due to the black population of the USA. Blacks have shorter life expectancy. Japan has very few blacks. Genetics plays greatly into life expectancy, this is very well known. Some races inherently have longer and shorter life expectancy. The same applies to family lineage. If your parents and grandparents all lived into their 90s, you probably will to. If they all died by their 70s, you can not expect to see age 90. That's just a well understood fact.

If 'Chris Palmer' is correct and murders are not increasing but homicides are, that would have to mean that 'potential victims' must be prevailing and killing their assailants. But I somehow doubt that is the case.
Murder is an intentional and illegal act. Homicide is the killing of another human. And while murdering another person is a criminal act AND a homicide, a homicide committed in self defense is NOT a murder NOR is it illegal.
But again, I seriously doubt the definition of the words or the facts relative to the numbers had anything to do with what 'Chris Palmer' was thinking or writing.

The Japanese have a very different culture. They teach their children national pride and set high standards. Their country is clean and trains are on time. Totally different culture to America's. If they fail, they feel they've let their country down and often commit suicide.
