So if I say I want to castrate someone, you are fine with that? Noted, must be a feminist supporter.
Mine was actually two lines, VS your very short, half a liner.

That is ridiculous and highly offensive.

There are women that hate men for what ever reason. Women that hate men are not the majority of feminists.

Of those women that do hate men for what ever their reasoning...there is no calls for any punitive legislation against men in general that would limit any of men's privileges.

Most of the legislation sought by feminists is to correct some historic issue of parity.

Feminism have been in the past a movement for good. First and Second waves were good, as they not only got us women's rights but also equality when it comes to various areas in terms of anti-discrimination laws.

Third one's.. Cancer, to be honest. With people like Anita Sarkeesian, Zoe Quinn, Judy Bindel, Steve Shives, +++, it's turned into a man-hating supremacy movement. Fun part is, these people are using guilt-tripping, emotional manipulation/blackmail, appeals to emotion and other crap in order to garner attention and support.

Luckily as a movement only some, what, 1 in 10 people identify as a feminist? I'm an Egalitarian, and feminism is automatically included. I want equality across the board. Hating on anyone or anything however is not part of my agenda, and never will be.

Free advice: Whining about one-liners (which nobody is actually using) with one-liners looks stupid and hypocritical.

I am frightened by neither women nor feminists but I can see you don't know the difference between them so I have just wasted 45 seconds of my life replying to you.

You are the one who doesn’t know what a feminist is. A feminist is one who believes in equal rights for women and nothing else. You add your own definition so you could justify your misogyny and insecurityThank goodness the younger man I work with don’t think as you do

The younger men you work with are young. They haven't experienced life yet and don't know the difference between equality and feminism. But then you don't know either because the point went over your head....

No the younger man I know are intelligent enough to know what feminism is. It is insecure men who do not understand the concept. Why don’t you tell me the definition of feminism so you stop sounding so silly. The men I work with are professionals and certainly know the definitions. They seem to Be more knowledgeable. Young people are much more tolerant. Because you experienced life more doesn’t make you any wiser

You poor thing. Young guys will tell you anything to get into your knickers. Us older guys are choosy and don't abandon knowledge for the sake of some fluff.

LOL I’m probably older than you are. You old guys don’t grow with the times. You’re stuck in the past. What’s also sad is that you can’t even comprehend that younger man believe in equal rights and are not as insecure as Old white men

That's some fine projection...hear that? That's the actual point whizzing high above YOUR head.
But since you feel the need to jump in, multi quote the entire exchange and prove me wrong.

Not feasible but it would only prove that you are no "fluff" ....... nor in possession of it by your own admittance.
Doesn't fit very well with your "I’m probably older than you are." If you are older than I then they must be lowering you into the grave as we speak.
How would you know what I think about "equal rights"? You've never asked me and I've never told you. In fact, had you actually read what I wrote initially you'd realize what an idiotic mistake you are making. Oh! No! Wait! That's right, you don't know the difference between equal rights for women and feminism. There's your problem. You see now, you've been floundering like a fish on a blow-up mattress in the rain.

    MY POINT?

The history of "women's rights" in America since its inception in the 18th century is nothing for Uncle Sam to brag-about.

Still today, when the studies are made, it is seen that women still suffer from Male Hegemony and particularly in the work-place. And I could care less about all the women who are running Top-Businesses. They got there on a fluke - the BoD freaked out and decided it "had to do something" so it hired a woman. Whereas women throughout the company are NOT in management positions as much as men are.

BUT this may be due to insufficient lack of preparation in terms of advanced degrees. In that matter, things are changing. See below.

And then there is the same mindless prattle about "women can't pursue a career because they have kids". Which is little more than male-chauvinism to try to discourage women from pursuing advanced postsecondary degrees.

For your edification on the subject: Male vs. Female Statistics in the Workplace in America - excerpt:
On the whole, the above shows that women's equality with men is "in the making", and that will continue to improve only for as long as they obtain postsecondary degrees - because it is at that level men outdo women (that is, obtaining a Tertiary-level Educational Degree).

That is, if they can given their high cost at even state institutions of learning. See here.

The results regarding comparative male/female degree postsecondary achievements at the following levels (from here) are:
    Bachelors Degree - 1.92M
    -Male (0.82M or 43%)
    -Female (1.10M or 57%)

    Masters Degree - 0.785M
    -Male (0.32M or 41%)
    -Female (0.465M or 59%)

    Doctorate Degree - 0.178M
    -Male (0.084M or 47%)
    -Female (0.094M or 53%)

My Point? - Women are clearly "catching-up" to men in obtaining tertiary-level degrees.

I know what you think about equal rights by what you write here. No dear you do not know the difference between equal rights for women and feminism ..the definition of feminism IS equal rights for the sexes..it is a movement for women’s equality duh!
Please stop with your childish insults. Grow up and educate yourself.
I was an activist in the 70s and I met men who spewed the same rhetoric like Rush Limbaugh but it was real men who supported women and helped us get all the changes we achieved in spite of men like you who labeled a movement negatively..the ones who got angry because we didn’t stay in our place
    • 1: the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes
    • 2: organized activity on behalf of women's rights and interests

I happen to agree with what you say.

But, I wont agree that America is the either the best or fairest developed country.

We have a dysfunctional and unfair voting process brought about by the Electoral College and Gerrymandering. To become a True Democracy, we must pass a law that allows redistricting of the vote from a BI-PARTISAN group. This mix of "interested party" would do well to lessen the impact of gerrymandered elections.

    Which have two negative impacts:
*People don't vote because they figure their vote "doesn't really matter". In fact, the US has one of the worst voter turnouts of any developed country. (See here).
*This rots our sense of participative democracy, and people become unwilling to make the changes necessary to remain "up-to-date". (Meaning the country can get stuck in the past and because it does not evolve the economy is affected and thus as well the overall standard-of-living.)

    IRREVERSIBLE

    Partial judgement of the movement.

Feminism is evolving because women are getting more and more educated and, as such, are working at better jobs with better salaries. Meaning, frankly, independence from males as "breadwinners".

Get used to it and go with the flow. Because the evolution is irreversible ...
