Fine by me. But you can't deny me the ability to vote because I live abroad and still have me pay taxes (US might be the only country in the world to do that).
That would be the very definition of taxation without representation.
We pay taxes on services that we will never benefit from, and on top of that you want to deny me my vote?
Yeah. I don't think so. And neither do the 9 million estimated Americans living abroad that accept to pay declare and pay taxes that we do not benefit from

 

So, just come home and vote or maybe we can set it up that Ex-Pats can go to an embassy and vote
