Isn’t it amazing what can be done if there’s actually a will to solve problems instead of perpetuating problems for political gain?

Your house catches fire you run and God willing nobody dies. Your neighborhood explodes you die.
Your house burns from an electrical fire, you are liable. Your neighborhood explodes the city/power company liable.

Final note whether you have gas heat or electric you will always have electric wiring in your house unless you plan on giving up lights, TV, Computers, phones...a more applicable comparison would be how many fires started by electric furnaces v. gas.

Interesting had to look up this claim

Its service territory comprises most of Portland west of the Willamette River, sharing most of the city east of the river with Pacific Power. PGE produces and purchases energy primarily from coal and natural gas plants, as well as hydroelectric power from dams on the Clackamas, Willamette and Deschutes rivers.

I get my electricity from Pacific Power.

There are no coal powered plants in these parts. It might have something to do with why people tend to be more healthy than other parts of the country. The largest electrical power supplier is Bonneville.

It's just a billing company, hate to tell you this we only have one electrical grid, you get electricity from coal, natural gas and hydro

The Boardman Coal Plant is a coal-fired power plant located in Boardman, Oregon. The facility has a nameplate capacity of 550 megawatts (MWs) and is operated by Portland General Electric.

I always find it amusing for people to think there electricity source comes from say windmills and solar

And the neighbor right next door comes from coal

Do you see thousands of different electrical wires in the Air?
