Well, who woulda thought...muslim leaders are going to boycott meeting with Scott Morrison, due to his comments on islamic terrorism...
The poor thing, is this just another example of playing the victimization card...no of course not..
Why cant they get on the same page...no wonder theyre going to cut immigration...

If a radical/ extremist/terrorist person is a citizen of a country, isn't it the responsibility of the country's legal system, rather than his religion, to point out the error of his ways?
Someone has already mentioned that the communities concerned have been instrumental in dobbing in radicalisers and radicals.

If it weren't for Muslims there would be no Islam, and with no Islam there would be no global threat from them. QED? So in a nutshell, Muslims are to blame for the ongoing war against us, even though they're going to be among the victims like the rest of us. Ironic, isn't it!

"Funny enough, it is time Islam stands to account, that is not at the ridicule of everybody else but to actively work to stop radical elements from taking hold. Christianity, Jewish,. Hindu and all other religious entities have to do more to engage with their parishes to help prevent."

Global Islam aka Armageddon has **** all to do with 9/11, it has been on the cards since the 7th century. Think 'Wahhabism'? I'll agree that the reason for 9/11 was the catalyst though.

What??? How to stick your head in the sand and blow bubbles so you can ignore the situation...

It is up to ALL. If people are being radicalised in any religious area or activity then YES it is up to the religion to confront it, address it and report it. If it happens in a club it is up to the club again to confront it address it and report it. Simply saying it is up to the Authorities is not only a piss weak response, but a poor excuse to acceptance.

So the communities responsible dob in radical intentions, Big whoop. Perhaps if they could actually stand up and hold true to their own religious beliefs, or are you going to tell us they believe in ISIS and the like??? Are you going to suggest they actually agree with the sentiment??? I don’t think so.

I get a bit short about these things because it is complacency that breeds these things. Then, people want to excuse such complacency and blame everybody else. If people continue to refuse to take responsibility for addressing the problems it will continue and grow.

honestly, this is poor form from the point of steriotyping radical elements and methods to excuse people for ignoring major issues...

Upon reflection, I think the poster meant "religious leaders"
and I concur with you...islamic leaders have to become involved with the fight against
terrorism, but Ill bet my left testicle that they never will....

Many are? The trick is knowing which ones before they commit an atrocity, and that ain't easy.

Well, actually if another poster had his way, we should all refrain from posting about terrorism, as it
    "helps the terrorists"

Umm unfortunately it is catch 22 here. Sure telling everybody they should be scared that this may happen or that may happen and also telling terrorists what and how to be successful.

But ignorance is actually far scarier when little is known. But when people know what has occurred, what could have been done to get there and just what to look for when others are planning and procuring the implements for a deed, it is far easier to catch the these people BEFORE they act out their hatred.

The problem occurs when the legal system either needs capture in action or a admission for prosecution, otherwise it is so difficult to convict. When people are identified, the Authorities need to act responsibly.

Actually that is not what I said, it is inflammatory statements which put all Muslims in the same basket. It is saying things like stopping Muslims from immigrating purely on their religion. It is making them all to be paedophiles etc.
It is giving ISIS credit where they didn't do it, and believe me, if they did do it they would brag about it.
    That's what I believe .

Umm just to split a hair here, ISIS claims everything as their act of terrorism.

But I love the hypocrisy here...
