Actually they ignore it because the liberal media has long been trying to minimize coverage of black crimes in general, but black on black crimes in particular. It goes back to the 1980's and the crack epidemic. Every night across the country they used to report on murders, the vast majority of those murders were black on black crimes. The overall opinion of blacks went down, and ever since the media has been working very hard to reverse that trend, even if it puts innocent people at risk by not reporting certain things...

well your argument is flawed unless you can prove that the people doing the shooting had purchased the handguns legally, possessed them legally and the people they killed were in possession of legal handguns. But I bet you cannot. so like the VPC nonsense you posted that was filled with lies, claiming that thugs killing thugs increased because a chicago ban was overturned (you do know don't you that the federal ban on felons owning or possessing guns still remains) is pretty dishonest

You are never going to stop crriminals getting guns in America unless you make FEDERAL laws. Just restricting guns in one state will not work when you can drive a couple of hours and that law no longer is in effect

 

There are at least ten felonies committed in buying/selling handguns in one state, shipping /transporting them to another state and buying/selling them in the restricted stated. If they are willing to commit ten felonies already, what would one more do? We already see the criminals in Chicago ignore every gun law - why do you think Indiana criminals would act any differently?
