That unrest [in Baltimore] has nothing to do with terrorism at all, except the terrorism we suffer from the police, http://www.newsweek.com/morgan-freeman-baltimore-and-terrorism-we-suffer-police-327300 At last someone with a voice can be heard without having to riot, well done morgan and lets have more celebrities talking about police corruption, that is if the police dont already have something on them, like their coke habit
MMnn, aside from me reading that in his voice, I'm not sure what makes his opinion any more correct than .. mine.
being correct or not is subjective but i digress, the point is that he has a voice and you, for example, dont.
We all have a voice.. Some choose to be louder then others.. I dont know what country you live in so perhaps you dont understand this simple concept.
so can we conceder the black community terrorist because they sure have done more to make others suffer then the police ever have
I've read the article and can't find any comment about what stealing sneakers has to do with any of it? http://www.complex.com/sneakers/2015/04/baltimore-riots-sneaker-stores-devastated
*consider *than and no, you cant, police brutality in the black community has existed a lot longer than "black crime" ever did. address the root and symptom, not the effect. - - - Updated - - - never heard of him.
Morgan is a perpetual victim. Morgan is a cry baby. Yo, Morgan: Start preaching to your people about changing the content of their character and the color of their skin won't matter.
Interesting to note that although technology, like Freeman said, does bring more attention to specific incidents of police violence, it also brings us video after video of black flash mobs, black hoards kicking the crap out of people, black mobs destroying property and on and on and on. So, Freeman needs to rethink his extremely narrow framework used for the condemnation of the police. It's conspicuously shaded with racism. For example, he says; That's a very lazy, extremely careless, racial attack on the police framed in a simple-minded, nieve ALL black VS ALL white dialogue using ridiculously erroneous examples. For starters, the police officers in Baltimore involved in the Gray incident weren't ALL white. So, so much for the "why are ALL the police killing them [blacks] all white" comment. Bottom line, using the ALL WHITE police VS the ALL BLACK victims is a tired, dishonest, racially polarizing approach to the problem he's addressing. Is there a problem? Yes. In fact, there are multiple problems. But we can't solve any of them by pitting ALL WHITE COPS against ALL BLACK "VICTIMS". You'd think we'd have already learned that much, but judging by Freeman comments, obviously not.
He is just another holly wood liberal, that makes a living speaking words that are written for him by other people. His words carry no weight.
was it the black cop who killed freddy gray though, or the white one? that kind of makes your point moot if it was the white one doesnt it. - - - Updated - - - morgan is too old to change much at all, maybe if other younger celebs jumped onto the campaign we could see real change. - - - Updated - - - his words are not designed to feed the reich wingers though are they. he's talking to us, not you. he's saying, WAKE UP!
Your avatar confuses me? You sound "major progressive" but yet you promote conservative ideology by your avatar. Why do you do that?
I believe change must come from within. Cops have some changing that needs to be done but do does the black inner city culture.
yep, the war on drugs is often used to silence people even the war on guns the person that video taped the choke hold cop was arrested shortly after for possession of a gun .
Not over the last 400 yrs, we haven't. - - - Updated - - - Right along with American culture. - - - Updated - - - MOD EDIT - Off Topic
