Been saying this for decades yet the bleeding heart liberals deny it. I've been working in healthcare for 3 decades. Directly with illegals and their offspring.

The left wants affordable healthcare. Fine. Who doesn't. The healthcare system is already overloaded and it's only getting worse. Hospitals are understaffed and underfunded. Keep letting millions of foreigners into this country. Healthcare in this country will become 3rd world level. Hospitals are already shutting down cause there's no funding. What did you think was going to happen?

How much more in denial is the left going to be in? Time to step it up and not only end birthright citizenship, amend the Constitution, enforce immigration laws, and stop these BS asylum leaches. Don't care how much 'room' we have. Our healthcare system can't handle what we have now. It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion.

Try Twitter. It suits your lack of intelligent debating better.

Having a child born on US soil is essentially an 18 year pipeline to the cornucopia of American welfare.

I really, really wish we could change the birthright citizenship loophole.

It's constitutional, libby, as you well know, and it is not a loop hole.

I am curious what your position is

In my own experience, my wife had an illegal co worker
She received housing assistance and flew her mom in from Mexico for cancer treatment on medicaid or medicare

I am no conservative, but resent abuse of the system.... especially by non citizens

What problem? That citizen children get treated? The people who come to the ER with emergencies are treated, stabilized, and released?

Most everyone in the country knows hospitals can't turn away valid emergencies at the ER.
This is no surprise to anyone, why are you surprised?

What is the R solution that will address the immigration issue?
NOTE: A wall is mostly useless, it will only alter routes, as they do so already.

I guess your wife's employer did an illegal act, especially if they hired her and gave her healthcare benefits. How did her mother get coverage? Something seems off.

This was a problem for Lefties before FullRetardCare got enacted but not anymore...

You do not understand how the law works. Being 'snarky' to me might make you feel better, so go right ahead, I don't mind. :)

It is not birthright citizenship or medicaid or medicare that permits this. It's federal law.

    So write your congress critter.

And the Constitution can be and should be amended in this case. Abolish birthright citizenship now!

That won't solve the problem. It is our alleged wars on crime, drugs, and terror that is creating refugees. Abolish those, first.

It is too bad even of you dont care

We are importing poverty on a massive scale

It wont be long before typical liberals - you for instance - will be ranting about poverty in America without understsnding that liberal policies create poverty

Any person showing up at a hospital with a serious medical condition gets a ‘temporary Medicade card’ regardless of status. Maria crosses the border illegally 7 months pregnant then shows up at the community hospital a few months later and pops out newly minted US citizen Jesus. You and I pay for the delivery charges and Maria now has the ticket to get food stamps, free education and medical coverage for little Jesus for the next 18 years........all funded by the sucker American citizens......a great system right?

Perhaps we can. Dems will complain either way so disregard them.
