We ALL should be angry at the completely preventable loss of life that was made possible by the incompetence of Joe Biden and his advisors, who should all resign, but I think it's Mark Schmitz's warning that we really need to heed in the days and months ahead. Joe Biden's incompetence and lack of leadership not only got 13 American servicemen and women killed last week it could get many more killed in the future.

Yes, the war never exactly "ended" completely, but it had wound down, and there was a relative calm for several years.

With only a few thousand American forces on the ground, and air cover, the Taliban wasn't in a position to be able to launch any major attacks. They were almost in a state of defeat and having to hide out.

 

To his credit, Garth has been good about acknowledging the mishandling of the withdrawal and those who are responsible.
