I doubt that. 90% of the tough guy go to war crap is posted by people who never got within a continent of a war zone. Microsoft? It's their company and they are free to express themselves to management. These are not stupid people.

Twenty years in the Air Force with a year in Vietnam. I don't know any of us who consider ourselves tough guys. Most of us proudly did our jobs.

Has nothing to do with a foreign invasion.

It was on US soil. The same reason we cannot put armed military on our border. At any rate, the US military and Pentagon had nothing to do with it.

Bob is a 9/11 Truther. Something to consider when discussing the US government with him.

If they don't like the lawful activities of their employer, they should work elsewhere.

Would wager that since the nature of and number of these "employees" is not mentioned in the OP article, we are not likely talking about the core of their engineering talent here. Likely a bunch of purple-haired "diversity hires" in marketing and HR, else left leaning Yahoo would have done more fleshing out of who these folks are.

Obviously. The US military has a duty to defend the US from any potential invasion. Posse Comitatus limits the military from enforcing domestic policies. Any potential hijacking can be thwarted by military aircraft upon FAA request for assistance.

Exactly, the official 9/11 conspiracy theory has nothing to do with truth.

Tell me more about my "pretend demons", Bob. I'm neither, but thanks for offering two extremes. It fits you perfectly.

There is no such thing as neither, you either believe in the truth or you don't. By claiming you're neither you admit you don't.

It's ok Max, I understand your position, many are just like you, afraid of the truth, it's a very common human trait. That's why you also said:

In other words, don't listen to Bob, he might enlighten you on the behavior and motives of the US government. You certainly don't want to hear about that. Keep laughing though if it makes you feel better.

As a species we are utterly brilliant at inventing new ways to render ourselves extinct. If by some miracle we survive the next several thousand years or so we’ll be able to transport our murderous instincts across the galaxies gleefully rendering other species extinct. That is if they don’t see us coming. If they do all bets are off.
Maybe they’re already aware of the threat we pose and are preparing to - - - - - -

The US military is forbidden to enforce the laws in the US. They cannot patrol the streets or the airline terminals. You cannot thwart a hijacking with a fighter aircraft.

So you think the founding fathers were "liberals" who hated America because they took up arms against its government?

"It is the duty of every patriot to protect his country from its government." - Thomas Paine or Edward Abbey

"The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first." - Thomas Jefferson

(also see my signature taken from our founding document)

I guess you're not an American or you don't understand the first thing about American ideology.

The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land by its own mandate and it is absolutely the duty of the US military commanded by the President as Commander-in-Chief (who sat on his presidential keister listening to My Pet Goat on 9/11) to defend the US against all enemies. That has nothing to do with enforcing domestic laws. But I understand your apologist mentality for the US military's failure to defend the US on 9/11/01, you have many who will agree with you.

Precisely, what was the military supposed to do?
