The sins of the past, huh? 20 years ago and just coming out now. MSDNC says they not only find the story very troubling. But he can't return until they full understand his past conduct. He might as well as start looking for work elsewhere. Could be decades before MSDNC can fully comprehend his conduct.

Since Hollywood finally outed Harvey Weinstein for his years of sexual assault and sexual harassment, it seems as if a new celebrity, public figure, or prominent individual is accused of sexual misconduct on a daily basis. On Wednesday, even 93-year-old former President George H. W. Bush was accused of sexual harassment. The former president released a statement where he apologized for his behavior and stated his actions were meant to be humorous. But now, a prominent MSNBC journalist has had to sever ties with his network.

Senior political analyst Mark Halperin has been suspended by MSNBC after five women had come forward accusing him of sexual harassment when he worked at ABC News in the 90s and early 2000s. CNN broke the story and reported that accusations leveled against Halperin include forcibly kissing women, groping their breasts, and rubbing his genitalia on them while clothed without consent. Other women who did not experience harassment directly stated that they were aware of the allegations. While Halperin says he did try to make sexual advances with women he worked with, he denies groping his former colleagues or rubbing himself on them.

MSNBC released a statement on the allegations saying:

We find the story and the allegations very troubling. Mark Halperin is leaving his role as a contributor until the questions around his past conduct are fully understood......snip~

More women come out saying Sexual Harassment by Halperin.

HBO Drops 'Game Change' Miniseries After Author Suspended for Harassment.....

HBO will not be moving forward with its plan to make a miniseries based off of the 2016 election after Mark Halperin, co-author of the still-unreleased sequel to "Game Change," was suspended from NBC on Thursday following sexual harassment allegations stemming from his time at ABC. Five women initially came forward to CNN to describe Halperin's inappropriate conduct, and more (including Emily Miller) have emerged since.

Halperin admitted that his behavior was inappropriate, and that he had sexually pursued women that he worked with.

In a statement released by HBO, the network said that they had "no tolerance for sexual harassment within the company."

HBO previously released a film titled "Game Change," based on Halperin's book about the 2008 election of Barack Obama. The 2016 version was set to be a miniseries.

Since this morning's explosive report by CNN, more women have come forward to say that Halperin's harassment was an "open secret" at the network. Halperin was employed as ABC's political director from 1997 until 2007 before leaving the network for Time magazine......snip~

Every man is presumed guilty is the new norm, isn't it? Don't like you boss? Just find a couple female employees who also would like someone else in charge and claim "sexual harassment." An actress who tried for a role and didn't get it? Find 3 other women who also didn't get a role they wanted and claim the producer "sexually harassed" them.

POOF, he is gone and blackballed in the industry. All accusations are presumed true. It is irrelevant if the man denies it and no proof is necessary. All accusers can only tell the true and all of the accused are all liars.

If you want to be a left wing Hollywood twit from now on you had better play by your own rule book. What goes around has come around hard on Hollywood.

“EXCLUSIVE, UPDATED: As claims against Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey remain fresh, Jeremy Piven, star of the new CBS drama series Wisdom of the Crowd, today found himself in the spotlight of sexual harassment allegations. On Monday, reality TV personality/actress Ariane Bellamar made specific accusations on social media that Piven groped her on the set of Entourage and at the Playboy Mansion several years ago.”

Powerful "liberals" hypocrites have gotten a pass on their sex crimes until recently.

“The women, both journalists at the time of the alleged incidents, made the accusations in recent weeks against Michael Oreskes, senior vice president of news and editorial director at the Washington-based public broadcasting organization.

In response to the allegations, NPR said Tuesday that it has placed Oreskes on indefinite leave.”

“In separate complaints, the women said Oreskes — at the time, the Washington bureau chief of the New York Times — abruptly kissed them while they were speaking with him about working at the newspaper. Both of them told similar stories: After meeting Oreskes and discussing their job prospects, they said he unexpectedly kissed them on the lips and stuck his tongue in their mouths.”

Also on Tuesday, Rebecca Hersher, a reporter and producer on NPR's science desk, discussed on NPR's All Things Considered a dinner meeting with Oreskes that made her feel uncomfortable. She reported the incident to NPR's human resources department and said she believed the network had held Oreskes appropriately accountable, according to a story written by NPR reporter David Folkenflik.....snip~

Now a dinner meeting made her uncomfortable. "What" was the guy wearing his BVD's at the dinner table. That would be uncomfortable, huh?

Just goes to show you that no news channel is immune from this sort of thing; the Republican News Channel (aka Fox) went through the same thing this past year as well.

As @Ddyad mentioned, Powerful Liberals(which really is an oxymoron) are the ones that were given a pass for years. Now because of this they have opened Pandora's box.

UK Defense Minister Resigns After Sexual Assault Allegations.....

UK Defense Secretary Michael Fallon, who has served under four prime ministers, has resigned after new reports of sexual harassment. He told Prime Minister Theresa May of his intent Wednesday.

In his resignation letter to May, Fallon said: “A number of allegations have surfaced about MPs in recent days, including some about my previous conduct.

“Many of these have been false but I accept in the past I have fallen below the high standards that we require of the armed forces that I have the honour to represent.

“I have reflected on my position and I am now resigning as defence secretary.” (The Guardian).....snip~

Feeding on themselves in an effort to appear as though they are not the corrupt entity we know them to be. And in doing so, only proving themselves to be even sorrier. How you say? No proof, just the claim, and he's done. What happened to innocent until proven guilty?

Yeah.....I agree. I don't like sticking up for the left. But if any get a conviction due to the allegations of the past. Then they will be placed on a Sexual Offenders list. Then their screwed for the rest of their lives.
