All of these Trump cronies were born to lie and deceive. It's in their DNA. Remember now...

In early 2017, Trump praised his friend Paul Manafort, calling him ' a great guy' and a 'really terrific guy' whom he's known for a long time, and 'quite pleased' with the work he had done on his campaign to get him in to office. 'He's a great guy, folks!'

In an interview with the NYT this evening, Trump said he barely knows Manafort - who's been indicted in the independent investigation of Trump's campaign - and he only worked for the campaign for a very, very short time.

Mueller is on a roll. He will go down in history as an American patriot who brought justice to the traitors that attempted to undermine our democracy to serve their own greed.

Mueller is turning up the heat to a boil on Manafort here. The point Mueller is making to the courts is that the bond that Manafort has put up is backed by fraudulent accounting hence, the bond is worthless. If the court agrees, Manafort will either have to amend the bond or go into the big house before and during the trials. This is leverage to force Manafort to pop like an over inflated balloon.

Manafort is a true sociopath. Remember when he wrote an op-ed with man linked to Russian intellegence while under indictment?

He really believes he's above the law. Now who does that remind you of?

Agreed, that's why Mueller is going to box him in and tightly. Manafort is a traitor and a criminal.

Noticed there's not a lot of interest in the topic ... but I want to help the OP out. http://thehill.com/policy/national-...tify-against-manafort-in-mueller-probe-report So charges filed Friday, plea deal only secures Gates testimony about Manafort, and his own financial transactions. Not a hint of tRUmpRUssiaPutin. Of course there are those people who've already made the big leap to "dominos" and "dots" ... :roflol:

Because he found that two people cheated on their taxes and then went way above and beyond the proportional prosecutorial response for such white-collar crimes?

Where was he during the sub-prime mortgage scam that put countless people in ruins?

Oh right, he was helping the Obama Administration protect Wall Street from prosecution.

How many of those criminals faced justice?

A real patriot would have devoted the entirety of the DOJ and FBI to bust those *******s.

Now remind me, in 2009 when that crisis broke as the undeniable intentional scam it was, who was President? ..who was running the DOJ? ..who was running the FBI?

    Yea.

We needed patriots then but all we got was Obama, Holder, and Mueller.

Praise Mueller if you want but he is no patriot.

Now tax cheats should be prosecuted, and fairly, but how does cheating on your taxes translate to "undermining our democracy"?

What say you about these two things?

    The noose is tightening.

Little wonder that the BLOTUS is going nutzoid trying to tweet his way out of his self inflicted investigation.

The latest indictments PROVE that the Russians did it.

    Really?

Because indictment is just another word for charge and a charge has to be proven.

Now a conviction, that's proof of something.

That's why we have different words for such things; indictment and conviction.

    Check your bias.

Thanks for sharing ... really original too. Your hope's about completely deflated at this point, I can tell. You've been bloviating for months about Russians ... and all the ones Muellers found are operating out of mom's basement in Moscow. :roflol:

Might be why Trump hasn't been fool enough to give Muellers firing squad any ammunition for his own execution. No threat of perjury. Manaforts new charge is strikingly similar to charges being sought against Bernie Sanders wife, Jane. Neither are "slam dunks" IMO.

And, that no Americans were knowingly involved.... which means no collusion, which means no chance of a substantive impeachment, which means president Trump till at least 2020.

This was all about getting Trump, not a few russian geeks operating on a shoestring budget, wasn't it. And it's a massive catastrophic FAIL ;)

It was NOT a "shoe string budget" given that it was backed and fully funded by the Kremlin.

This is just a foundation stone upon which the indictments of your beloved BLOTUS's criminal cabal will be brought to justice.

And FTR I am now treating everything you post as being nefariously influenced by the Russians to undermine America.

You might not be aware of this malign influence but given what was provided in the indictment your posts could easily fall into the "unwitting" category.

I never said he did nothing wrong. He did. I may think that prosecuting him for that lie was ridiculous, but thats my opinion and not the law.

All I was pointing out was for the right to remember that when they keep pushing the "no collusion" and Trump gets nailed for lying about money
