    The data is distorted because no one wants to deal with the FACTUAL REALITY!

    There is ZERO DIFFERENCE is crime rates between the races. There was a scientific study done in OH that PROVED that to be the case.

    Poverty is one of the primary CAUSES of crime. Whites living in the same levels of poverty have the same crime rates as whites do.

    That FACT causes Cognitive Dissonance amongst white nationalists.

    I care if it's a copy cat.

    Our media usually focuses on the shooters and the horrificness of the crime. It seems we can't get enough of it, and it seems that one mass killing generates others. The shooters seem to want notoriety and recognition for their evil. Publishing the names, the manifestos, and personal details only makes it more likely there will be copycats trying to out-do each other. In a sense, it glamorizes the crime and makes it appealing to a select group of very sick people.

    It's highly probable that the El Paso shooter thought of himself as heroic, doing something patriotic, kind of like Timothy McVeigh thought his bombing was patriotic.

    This concern is in no way ignoring the gun issue. Realistically, making such weapons illegal can help but isn't much of a solution overall since the world is full of those weapons and they're easy to get. Personally, I see no need for such weapons, and I'm for banning them, but with the realization that it won't stop mass shootings. We ought to be hunting such people down and removing them from society.
