To get away from politics, here is a question I have for wveryone.

Does an artists complacency or being stagnant hinder or benefit their career? I call artists that consistently have the same sound record after record, "The AC/DC Sundrome." In my view, every album should be unique in its own way. It is good to have a trademark sound. You can tell a Megadeth song before Daves vocals come in just from the tone of the instrumentation.

Every album should have its own place stylistically in an artists disograghyx maybe a little more reggae in this record over pure slice and dice guitars in the previous record, or more female backing vocals in two-to-three part harmonies to create a angelic tone in a songs bridge. It's not a hard concept really. Music has no boundaries.

    What say you)

Music, like good wine should have consistent flavors as a base, but subtle variation by the bottle/song.
