Muslims are hesitant to criticize other Muslims because Allah will punish them if they do

Part of the problem is that those Muslims, and you (you didn't condemn Muslims for Q4:34, when asked in a previous post), defend Sharia Law. Jihad is terrible, and Sharia Law is almost as bad. FGM, women getting 1/2 the inheritance of a man, wife beating, cutting off hands/feet, crucifixion as punishment, killing of gays, etc., etc., etc., etc. So it's not ONLY the Jihad/killing, but the barbarity of Sharia Law as well.
What part of Sharia Law do you think is the most inhuman?

Showing them a better ideology is the best way. Long-term, at least. How tough can it be to show people that a prophet who was a pedo and rapist and murderer is not the "best role model of all time"? Especially with something that we've never had in previous centuries...this thing they call "the internet". :) There is hope.

The problem is that Q9:5 and Q9:29 etc. say to rule over us with Sharia Law, so we can't just do that, I'm afraid.
Do you condemn Q9:29 for saying to charge, say, your mother, with a separate unfair religious-based tax (the "jizya")? Certainly you can muster the moral courage (you don't seem to muster much of that) to condemn Q9:29, right? Right?

Yes please show them the error of their ways. You should make some progress in about 100 years.

I condemn it all. And as long as they don't bother us I don't care if they believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

If you care about humanity then it IS your problem. The world is now too "small" for us to "let Muslims be Muslims" - their barbarity hurts too many people - the internet points this out to us every day. Decades ago we didn't hear about these atrocities so we just took your attitude. Not anymore. Care about humanity enough to care about the barbarity of Sharia.

The internet will shorten that considerably.
Besides, doing the right thing is doing the right thing, no matter HOW LONG it takes.

Uh, they DO bother us....they want us to follow their Sharia blasphemy laws and eliminate our free speech to condemn Sharia, etc., in the UN even: "Muslim countries to raise online sacrilege at UN" http://gulftoday.ae/portal/e3410db6-76a6-485a-a4f1-41f546f1175a.aspx

It beats trying to DEFEND Sharia/Islam like you clearly appear to be doing.

Ask them to condemn Allah for saying "fight them until all worship is for Allah".....good luck with that.

It's not that great a threat to the world on the whole. In fact, most of the violence attributed to radical Islam is regional and political/sectarian in nature.

Of course it's not that simple. Plenty of Christians have killed for religious reasons, even in modern times, and plenty of others have expressed nasty, hateful, violent sentiments, all in spite of that wonderful neutering that the New Testament and its various interpretations have supposedly brought about. And of course people have killed and still kill for any number of other ideologies and beliefs.

Islam is a religion of peace for many millions of peaceful Muslims, seems to me. What's written in a book doesn't automatically govern what people think and do.

In other words that religion is clearly not from "god" (all-knowing, all-powerful) or they'd follow it precisely, to the letter, like ISIS/AQ/Taliban, etc. do. Some people get it that it's best NOT to emulate a pedo, warlord, rapist, slave owner and enslaver, necrophiliac, etc.
Islam is simply a con-job (in all fairness, the talking snakes and dragons are dead give-aways that Jesus and pals are a con-job too, obviously.)

I'd of course, if I had Jesus' alleged magic super-ninja all-powerful skills, have come down w/in the last 2000 years to educate people that doing that in his name is not a good thing at all, because obviously I'm more ethical and care about humanity more than Jesus does. Or else Jesus maybe DOES APPROVE of killing in his name (Mohammad/Allah do, and Jesus ("Isa") is the messiah in Islam), so he sits on his all-powerful hands while people kill in HIS name. Bastard.

Virtually all Christians I ask that question of can't rise to the high moral standards set by Modern Secular Humanism. But I have faith that they eventually will rise to this higher moral standard.

But of course the real reason Jesus doesn't do that (despite being a pompous, self-proclaimed moral teacher, no less) is because he's not actually real in the first place.

    Have a great week.

Can you condemn Mohammad/Allah, and all Muslims who believe that their should be penalties for apostasy, for believing that apostasy should be punished?

To find the true colors of a Muslim, ask them this question "do you condemn Mohammad for being a role model for the terrorists because he said 'I have been made victorious through terror'"? I dare you.

The obvious answer from any person who is against violence is "yes, of course I condemn him for saying that, obviously".

In other words god got it wrong the first time around, so he needed a 2.0 (he's not all-knowing because he obviously didn't see that coming or he would have got it right the FIRST time!)

Tell that to the people on 9/11. In Madrid. In London. In Brussels. In Belgium. In France (many many times). In London again. etc., etc., etc.
Whether it starts "regional" or not is not really of that much importance. They have eyes on the world because their invisible friend in the sky said "fight them until all worship is for Allah". Can you condemn Mohammad/"Allah" for saying that, Durandal?

You don't seem to realize that, effectively, you're DEFENDING/running interference for, terrorism/Sharia.
It's like in 1938 if your grandparent said "you know, I think that Hitler guy is not as bad as Charlie Chaplin thinks he is - Hitler is just misunderstood, and most Nazis are not that great a threat to the world on the whole...."

Keep in mind that their are far far more Muslims otday than there were Nazis back then. Far more. And their marching orders come not from some politician with a funny mustache, but from "god" himself - who has the alleged power to grant them ultimate paradise and keep them from ultimate torture - if they kill for him. Jihadists even get into the HIGHEST level of Jannah - that's how much Mohammad wanted people to plunder booty for him (per Q8:41.)

It beats trying to DEFEND Jihad/Sharia at every turn like you obviously do.
