Just wondering why believers would waste so much time and energy on something that you believe is bats4!t crazy.

I myself don't engage crazy people. I'm not going to waste the energy. I ignore them and move on.

Hardly. A few minutes here and there.

I like to keep count of how long the gullible 'truthers' will dodge a question. So far, none of them has been able to bring any evidence to the table. Masterful dodgeball players.

Obviously you didn't even read what I post as the answer is in there. And again you prove my point far better than I could just talking about truthers. So thank you for discrediting yourself and exposing the truth behind most conspiracy theorists.

Well, now you know why people look at truthers the same way they look at cockroaches. They're not here to debate. They're here to throw (*)(*)(*)(*) and run because they can't defend or even explain what it is they believe other than the big bad gubment is responsible for all evil in the world despite any evidence to the contrary.

I know this is off topic, but it's worth making this distinction that "truthers" like to blur:

Families that have/had questions about the 9/11 attacks and don't/didn't believe the commission was forthcoming
    vs
Families that support the "Truth Movement".

These are two completely different things.

This goes beyond the truther movement and can be found in just about any conspiracy theory out there. If one has any question or gripe about the "official" theory in question, they are lumped in as agreeing with any and all claims made by that conspiracy group. A poll truthers like to use to prove their "popularity" is one that asks the following question:

"Do you think members of the Bush Administration are telling the truth, are mostly telling the truth but hiding something, or are they mostly lying?"

Given the broadness of the question and the fact people tend to cover their asses especially if it involves something like 9/11, it wouldn't surprise me that the government wasn't 100% truthful. I would fall into the 53% of people that said "mostly telling the truth but hiding something".

Here is prison planet's take on the poll. Scientific Poll: 84% Reject Official 9/11 Story!! Is that what the poll states? Nope. Not even close. They even lump the ones who are "not sure" into people rejecting the official story! Conspiracy theorists are so desperate for acceptance by ANYONE that they are willing to blatantly lie about their "successes" even when it is glaringly obvious to everyone else that it is pathetic and dishonest lying.

This is sadly true even of the slightly less wacky conspiracy pushers like Richard Gage. From his own website:

    http://www2.ae911truth.org/events/esotour2012/index.php

"The Phoenix area premiere was held on May 29, 2012, at Harkins Valley Art Theater in Tempe. More than 180 people came out to see the film. Before the screening of "Experts Speak Out" began, 28 attendees either believed the official 9/11 story or were unsure. Afterward, all in attendance agreed with the evidence for controlled demolition. "

"A poll of those attending the Portland premiere of "Experts Speak Out" revealed that most of them found out about the event via e-mail. An ad we placed in the Willamette Week paper also drew at least a dozen attendees.

Of the 102 people who came to see the documentary, five people believed the official 9/11 story and 23 were unsure of the official story before the presentation began. By the end, no one believed the official story. "

    And for laughs there's this.

Even a 10 year old would be smart enough to fake figures better. No legitimate operation gets 100% approval/results 100% of the time.
