A couple of forum members are both deeply knowledgeable and infinitely patient with all the data on this virus. Problem is most of us simply don't have a clue what is being told to us. Average people rely on whoever is in charge knowing the data and recommending the best course of action for us. That system of communication depends on trust and unfortunately that trust has been violated by people who should have known better. Now many of us don't trust them on much of anything, That is why our resident experts can't seem to make a dent in our thick heads and why people are weighing things and making a decision for themselves.

That depends on your definition of “protective”. It looks like some protection will last a lifetime. No, the individual won’t be protected from infection forever (sterilizing immunity) but it’s very possible protection from severe disease will be permanent in healthy individuals (functional immunity).

General health and immune system health is key. Vaccines cannot protect people who have poor immune system health. That’s why it’s important in my opinion to look at Covid as a lifestyle disease and mitigate infection and severe disease through healthy lifestyle instead of just expecting a vaccine to do all the heavy lifting. If anyone is interested in ways to protect themselves vaccinated or unvaccinated….

You keep repeating the same tripe over and over again... that's not going to make it true...
