I am not Pro Life, so that is exactly what I want only that I look at it from another angle and thus draw a completely different conclusion.

Any child who is told to be "free to do as they want" is a mistreated child. Children need support and guidance.

There is a huge difference between support and guidance for a child verses indoctrinating them with misogynistic disinformation about societal roles.

Why do you have an issue with how other people raise their kids?

Without subsidies those "precious lives ", CHILDREN, would suffer...is that what you want ? Really!!!

Hard to believe you're Pro-Choice. So you do want children to suffer through having subsidies ended? (You: ""so that is exactly what I want"")

Why did YOU bring up the issue of how you intend to raise your own children if you did not want it to be discussed?

Any chance you could address post 522 ? Refute any of it? prove anything wrong with it?

You don't have to worry about having boys and girls with proper manners around you since my genes are too damaged for it to be healthy for me to reproduce. ;)

Free to choose whats right for them in life vs towing the line with made up rules for each gender. Im not talking about ignoring gender, but in the past becoming ladies and gentlemen, came with some pretty wacky ideas.
Giving children guidance and teaching them to be respectful people is always the right thing to do.

It is so interesting to me that over the years have people condemned sex education and yet never once asked what the curriculum is. You can bet I encouraged abstinence because I didn’t want my 15-year-old is having babies but I also know they don’t always listen and they should be educated in birth control, STDs etc

This is what I was talking about. You have no idea what the curriculum is but yet it is a great hoax to you. Yes let’s keep our kids ignorant of things like STDs and birth control and sexual abuse and the reproduction system etc. I bet you want those good old days when we can “protect” women from enjoying sex. Maybe you should worry more about protecting women from sexual assaults which existed for years and years

You don’t know crap about sex education. Not only do I know about it but I taught it for years in nyc. You also show a lack of understanding adolescents, Yes their parents teach them about the birds and bees but when they become teenagers they don’t want to talk to the parents about sex. That’s why they wrote journals where they could ask embarrassing questions and also get help from sexual abusers. When I taught about sexual abuse and sexual harassment I got some pretty disturbing journals. I told the kids from day one that the journals were strictly confidential unless I thought they were in danger and I would have to report them. Sadly I had to report many.
You seem to value female sexuality be repressed. That’s why we used to have names for women like sluts and whores and tramps and easy etc. That was a way of repressing women’s sexuality. Now women don’t want to be virgins when they marry..Men probably want them to be a virgin so they can’t compare LOL

Why is having consensual sex treating women as objects? What is disrespectful about a woman choosing to have sex? You sound like someone from the 50s

Yep, they knock out children because they can get money and live in poverty. What a great life to you

<Mod Edit> This may come as a surprise, but women enjoy sex as much as men. What is wrong with the one night stand if that’s what people want? Every class I started with the same question, “what’s the best form of birth control?“ And the class would chant, “abstinence“ but I knew that they all would not be abstinent so I educated them about how to avoid pregnancies and STDs. But the best lesson of all I might have mentioned it before but it’s worth repeating, is the girl whose mom made her have an unwanted baby. She asked me if he could talk to the class and she sure did. She told him about what a burden it is and she was filled with anger about having to stay home and not be a typical teenager. She use the F word over and over and I never allowed cursing in the class but I let her go with it. I think they’re still virgins after that lecture LOL. Another technique I used was showing a photo of STDs .

I had basic sex-ed as early as 2nd grade and also attented it in 5th grade, 8th grade and 12th grade. I very much know what it is about and from my classmates' reactions and the teachers' obvious awkwardness, the whole thing is rather useless.

I do not oppose these things per se. I only oppose that the State thinks it is their responsibility to teach kids all this.

A great way to protect women from rape is to reintroduce strong marital norms and value family making. Additionally, more relaxed gun laws on top of this would be mint.

Teachers awkwardness? Do you really think I believe that you had sex education? Not even for a second .what was so awkward? I know you’re making this up.what was the sex ed you had in second grade? It was probably about touching....
perhaps we should get rid of all schools because the state thinks it’s their responsibility to teach reading and math
Women should not need to be protected from rape. Men are the ones who are committing it and they are the ones who need strong marriage norms and family value making . Since men are the rapists, we should give them curfews

I am born in the 1990's, of course I have had sex-ed.

The sex-ed in 2nd grade was, as pointed out, very basic and only touched upon the reproductive systems of different animals. As I grew older, the sex-ed became more detailed.

You're getting me excited, rawr. Easy, tiger. :D

This is the primary reason I am for stronger marital norms and I am glad we finally agree on something.

Women have always been raped...NOTHING you can "reintroduce" or introduce will ever change men who rape.

BTW, what ARE """strong marital norms and value family making"" ?

and how do you force people to accept them?

You seem to care about those children, so do I and I am certain there are millions of people just like us. This means the poor mother could get more efficient help through charity and probably a system without welfare would create better relations within the community, families and amongst friends as everyone would have to rely upon one and other. People in general would be more willing to help in such a system.

Wuth these incentives, men and women wouöd also be more cautious and try to avoid unwanted children.
