Words of sagely advice to fellow Humans: Brush your ****ing teeth.

My teeth have actually been pretty healthy, more than not. Only once did I need a filling. However on August 15th of this year, I noticed a throbbing pain in my tooth and the pain wouldn't go away, in fact it gradually increased. And so I had to set up a dentist appointment, but lo and behold most dentists didn't take medicaid(So your medicaid for all bullcrap doesn't work. Slight political dig if you can take it.) My primary doctor's association is associated with a dentist, but they only had an opening on August 31st. But then my grandmother's keys went 'missing'(presumably stolen) and she needed to get a new ignition. But the car dude arrived too late for us to make the August 31st appointment.

TLDR: Some more dental attempts and an unrelated major asthma attack later(as well as an ear infection),on the 14th I found a dentist that accepted my insurance. Right up the ****ing street. But the ratings weren't the best. I would later find out why. I had gotten my teeth cleaned and checked out and I found out the reason for the pain. One of my teeth had developed a nasty infection near my wisdom tooth. The only way to have saved it would be a root canal. But lovely medicaid(again) doesn't pay for a root canal. The other option, was to remove the teeth.

And that brings us to today. Oh my GOD. I'd seen surgeries on Discovery Health, and let me tell you: Go for the whooping cough gas. You do NOT want to be up for this crap. As they literally drilled in and punched and damn near did whatever they could to get my teeth out(not to mention the numbing agent), it felt like I was getting pulperized in the mouth by Muhamad Ali.

The teeth are out, but I feel like I substituted one problem(a major infection that could have developed into Tooth Abscoss) for another problem entirely. My mouth's gashing, my gums bleeding uncontrollably and I have to have cotton in my mouth for at least IMO 24 hours. Or whenever my gums are able to create the blood clot.

The dentist told me a 4-6 week recovery timeline from the surgery(The 2nd surgery in my life. The first, I got stitches on my chin.) and oh god will I ever brush and floss, and ****ing mouthwash.

You know that you can request a dental surgeon to have teeth removed.

They knock you out then stitch you up afterwards with no bleeding.

Very professional but a bit costly.

I would never let a dentist yank out one of my teeth.

Luckily I haven't had to worry about that yet.

    'Count backwards from 100'

I got to 97... then sat in the chair for about 10 minutes wondering when they would start, only to find out it was an hour later and it was finished. I was loopy for days.

Way better than laughing gas (which apparently doesnt work on me at the max legal dose).

Look into tooth ionization and bone broth suppliments. Your teeth can regenerate if you eat the right stuff and/or use the right toothpaste/mouthwash. 'MI Paste' and 'Superblue' toothpaste are two products I have positive personal experience with.

Yep, only way to have surgery done.

If I ever get the money I will just have them all yanked and implants put in, that way I will never have to worry about it.

I really like that feeling you get, that nothing has happened. It reminds of the dialogue where the one guy in this story is being frozen . "I heard this girl giggle then realized she had been dust for centuries." Much better than the gas where it seems like they are actually breaking your jaw and you feel every single detailed part of it

Get dentures, though you will miss your teeth. Implants actually take more care than naturals.

    Not from what I've read.

Maybe the tech has come along since you last looked into it.

Right? My god, I can still remember the horror being on the table lol. I may not have 'felt' it in the sense of physical pain but I felt it in the sense of my mind screaming 'torture'.
