Ignore the video at the bottom for now. Follow the two links below and watch the news cast. It is impossible to tell the target of this camera. Just a metadata collector from all indications.

In England people are mostly harmless, drink nice tea and have tarts and strumpets, are under 24 hour watch,
    for what reason ?

By the way, learn to speak and spell properly !

This is America. We have the reasonable right not to be recorded as We live our lives. This is not Orwells 1984 , is it?

    another article on it

    http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=569_1452972278

"Oh this is priceless. The Moron Militia sent one of their head imbeciles up a utility pole to scope out what they deemed a suspicious looking box. When you’re an idiot, such a find is a revelation of magnanimous proportions. These nitwits definitely qualify."

Did you read the OP? Of course not. You want to be a theorist so you jump right to the bottom. That's what a bottom dweller is. Now go and open the news links at the top and let's have a honest discussion instead of the usual trolling.

it was a youtube, and it says right on it. Oregon protestors, yes these idiots are bottom feeders, think they are mental cases too

they did a armed take over of a utility poll......

that said, I did not read the articles, only the youtube and what was in the op's post, could care less about the propaganda, if you have something more you would like to point out, feel free

My city has cameras on most every angle of most intersections not in residential areas. There is no right to privacy in public.

When are you going to open the two news reports from Phoenix. It has nothing to do with the video on the bottom other than things on poles.

Open the links , watch the Phoenix news castss not involving or mentioning Oregon even once. Read my posts, comment as though you did.

tell me what you want to discuss in them, the video was in the ops post, it set the tone of the thread

the video was Oregon protestors, if they are not the issue, then why bring them up?

There are two videos in the links that are the importance here. But reading the OP is too much for you. Remember the line that's starts the thread; Ignore the video at the bottom.? Can you follow instructions?

Fresh air is with the disinformation teams. If you want to be involved in this thread you will follow the links and see the thread direction is about electronic survielence. If I could find the likable videos contained in those news reports I would. So if you want to participate , unlike this disinformation person , you will have to open these safe links. Your choice pacrticipate or disinform.

It goes beyond that. Those cameras read license plates and ID cell phones in the area. Your every movement is tracked and recorded.

While I have no familiarity with the capabilities of the the black boxes, I am well aware that the technology does exist for the police/etc to track you via your cellphone pings even if you do not have your GPS on. Several local police cars also are equipped with the license plate readers. Again, no privacy expectation when in public. There are pluses and minuses to those readers. A plus is you can renew online on the last possible day and not yet have your stickers and the plates will pass the reader. It also discourages people from stealing the renewal stickers off other people's plates which used to happen somewhat frequently in my city. The down side is that I cannot wait until after midnight on my renewal date and just play the odds the cop won't notice my expired tags.

Its not just the cops. It is metadata collection. You have no right to a private life.

Not in a public space, you don't. For example, the courts have ruled that I have the right to film or photograph police, as long as I am not interfering in their duties. The government can put a camera any where they like in public, as there is no presumption of privacy in public spaces.

That is correct. It is just a matter of who has the data. From your computers to those supermarket discount cards, we give up our privacy every day.

Don't use those more than once and every bit of info on the application is fake when I do. So no I don't give up privacy anywhere any time. I believe in the 4th A So license plate readers , cameras and data collection of my whereabouts is a violation of my rights (prior to the Patriot Act).

George Orwell predicted this situation in 1934 when he wrote the story 1984,
there has been ample time to prepare for it and prevent it.

People are apathetic and lazy, otherwise non of this would be possible.

    **********

"In principle a Party member had no spare time, and was never alone except in bed. It was assumed that when he was not working, eating, or sleeping he would be taking part in some kind of communal recreation: to do anything that suggested a taste for solitude, even to go for a walk by yourself, was always slightly dangerous. There was a word for it in Newspeak: ownlife, it was called, meaning individualism and eccentricity. (1.8.2)

In concert with having no private time is the Party’s view that individualism and eccentricity run contrary to the Party’s purposes. "

    ****************

    Sound familiar ?

People seem infantile and quite silly pouting over something predicted in 1934 !
Especially anyone from 19 - 30 years old, too pathetic..
