Not at all. 2 of the last 3 democrat POTUS won the south. Not very "cherry picked".

How are either of these linked or have to do with the CRA? Papist, as in JFK? They did.

    Again, before the CRA, non-sequitur.

And since they've become more Republican, have more or less blacks moved there? Has there been an increase or decrease in racial lynching's? Has there been more or less riots because of race like in Baltimore or LA?

    This sentence doesn't make sense.

Oh, I love you claiming the right is "stupid", and seeing you write a response like this, very ironic. BTW, the left follows the same thing the TV says all the time. The left thinks that something like 33% of America is gay cause they see in on all the liberally produced shows, when in fact only maybe 3% of America is gay. Or that Russia hacked our election cause CNN wont shut up about it.

How about the myth that Democrats support the middle class?

All of those rust-belt dems that voted Trump seem to disagree.

They jumped over to Republicans because Goldwater said he would not pass the civil rights bill. WINNING is what the republicans try to do without constraint on any bill, any rights, anything ! Just like all the Gerrymandering they are doing... It is about winning, and Trump only went republican because there was an open spot...

It doesn't matter how many people voted in any year. What is true is that the southerner hate black people (under their breath) and if dems said, we will offer free healthcare to all the white people, we are gonna chase out all the muslims and build a bigger wall than trump, they would jump sides. I know these guys, work with these guys... I live it and hear it everyday and keep my mouth shut because if you even hint at actually caring about people outside of the GROUP. You are cut off...
20 years from now someone could throw out, Obama won some southern areas when he ran the first time and pretend it was because southerners were not racists, but it wont be true. Why ? Because the republicans and BUSH did such a shitty job, just like Trump is doing. Same old thing... Clinton got it right after first bush screwed it up, then the second bush screwed it up and we had Obama... Even still, it isn't the Pres. that does everything, but working together when a dem. is pres. When a republican is, no working together... Just like the healthcare vote they cant even agree with by themselves and 50 votes. It is pathetic !

I love how you commit me to all "right" are stupid... ANyone that voted for Trump down south, not all, but most. did so because they believe he would do everything he said he would. We know for a fact he cant build a wall, and charge Mexico for it. But he said so and people believed that... He said he could do healthcare, and do it cheaper and better, and maybe in a week ! Where is it. ? People voted for him because of this. So he lied, anyone that is smart knew it was a lie ! Misleading, etc.. .What did his puppets say about this ? That was candidate Trump, not pres. Trump ! WTF ? does that mean ? It means exactly what trump is, a liar, a narcissist, a scam artist and bully when he doesn't get his way. Fire everybody when they Obey, when there is a problem, hire attorney's... Baffle everybody with BS ! Fire some more, hire some more.. The Press secretaries cant even answer a decent question because each answer is a lie. THe house speaker is a liar too.. .All BS people...
Dems are wussies and way to liberal... I cant stand them either... In the middle, tell the truth and do what is right for the people... Hell, Trump doesnt even know what is and what isnt in the healthcare bill...

I guess that's why Ronald Reagan picked Philadelphia, Miss, the town where four Freedom Riders were lynched and buried in an earthworks to launch a national political campaign. Name one other national figure who has ever even been there.

I guess that's why Roger Ailes made the Willie Horton ad for George HW Bush.

I guess that's why Karl Rove used push polling in the South Carolina primary that suggested that John McCain had a "black love child"

I guess that's why Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott suggested to an audience that we wouldn't have "all these troubles" were it not for the Civil Rights Act.

I guess that's why Newt Gingrich blatantly pandered to race in the 2012 South Carolina primary.

I guess that's why Donald Trump bagan his campaign with a full dose of Mexihate, and followed that up with condescending lectures about how he's going to save blacks in cities, before envoking the old racist chestnut "law and order" which goes all the way back to George Wallace.

There are literally hundreds of other examples.

Trump could care less about the middle class. That's why many as you said Rust Belt Republicans did not vote for either Hillary or Trump and left the Presidential vote open. Unfortunately, crossover Dems helped him win. Just wait until his Rich buddies get big tax cuts, and the middle class gets none or very little tax relief.

The economy is doing pretty well. Im thinking the bigger problem for dems will be convincing democrat voters why their failed policies will somehow not fail next time.

It was working class dems, in swing states that handed this election to Trump. Dems ignored them.

Why do you extend a problem you encounter within your wife's family to the entire population of the southern states? Seems a little unreasonable to me...

We guess this is why..Saul is hillarys and Obama's hero..you want more thosands of examples my friend?

    Alinsky’s 12 Rules:
    1. Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have. Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood.

    2. Never go outside the expertise of your people. It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone.

    3. Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy. Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.

    4. Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules. If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.

    5. Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

    6. A good tactic is one your people enjoy. They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones.

    7. A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag. Don’t become old news.

    8. Keep the pressure on. Never let up. Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.

    9. The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself. Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.

    10. If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive. Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.

    11. The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative. Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem.

    12. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

No idea what's on earth you are on about. I noted though that those on the right claim the economy is in a shamble despite the Market shows otherwise, but those same people are now touting the Market as an indicator of the economic recovery. Hypocrite much?

Then what's this claim by the left we need food stamps? We need Obama Care?

Why does the left want the minimum wage rased to $15 an hour?

You can always count on righties to post a bunch of nonsense. You all make up half of these claims.

    Back them up.

This place feels like a grade school playground half the time. No wonder Trump got elected.

I have one for you: The Republican policies and principles collapsed the economy and now you blame poor people.

"Oh no, it was low-income housing!!!" cry the crackpots.

No, that was 30% of the problem at most. It was creative financing, bundled loans, derivatives, a lack of accountability, dark markets, and a fundamental failure of the free market. Market discipline was a fantasy. And the men responsible admitted it!

"Oh no, blame the poor people" cry the crackpots.

    It is sickening.
