Well this is certainly good news.....
this could well mean that I may not be put on Unpaid Administrative Leave beginning around December 1, 2021.

I am unvaccinated....
and have not plan to be vaccinated... not even the first shot....
so.... I had assumed that I would be forced to look for a different job by around December 2, 2021.

I actually am in CUPE, specifically local 955.

New Brunswick is advising that a strike by unionized provincial workers has led to the cancellation of COVID-19 vaccination and testing clinics, as well as future delays in test results.

Public Health confirmed a person in their 80s in Zone 5 (Campbellton region) died because of COVID-19.

It’s reporting 32 new cases and 70 recoveries, bringing the province’s active total to 513.

Of the new cases, 17 were unvaccinated, four were partially vaccinated and 11 were fully vaccinated.

In total, 23 people are in hospital. There are 13 people in ICU, 10 of whom are unvaccinated. One person is partially vaccinated and two are fully vaccinated.

Currently, 85 per cent of eligible New Brunswickers are fully vaccinated and 92.6 per cent have received at least their first dose of a vaccine.

New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs says he's exploring his options to end a strike by 22,000 CUPE members in the province after the job action impacted health-care services Saturday.

Higgs told reporters during an afternoon news conference he could use the province's Emergency Measures Act to force the employees back to work, but will take the next 24 hours to weigh his options.

Medical services in New Brunswick are being affected as a result of a public sector strike.

Higgs said medical services affected include vaccination clinics for both COVID-19 and flu shots.

At least one COVID-19 vaccination clinic has been closed in Fredericton. Higgs said those affected are being directed to a pharmacy.

Higgs said the strike also meant that COVID-19 screeners were not available in some hospitals and other facilities.

Availability of third doses will also be impacted due to the strike.

This comes after the union representing 22,000 public-sector workers went on strike Friday morning.

Those on strike include school bus drivers, custodians, mechanics, some health-care workers in rehabilitation and therapy, education support staff, workers in transportation and infrastructure and community college workers.

Members say they are recieving a lot of support from the public.

"We've had a few negative reactions but I'd say 99 per cent of people appear to be supporting us and letting us know that they support why we're here," said Tom Langille, an educational assistant on strike.

We do try.....
American veterans give us Canadians a lot of credit for setting the stage for American political leaders to break out of isolationism and get the USA involved in WWI and WWII..... we were in those conflicts faster due to our closer ties to England.

I actually have a plan that is like a massive game of chess that leads to my paying off the national debt of the USA in an astonishingly short amount of time but.....
on the negative side I have to let Americans know that some really, really, really, really intelligent English Aristocrats came up with a plan more than three hundred years ago......
that is largely responsible for the national debt of the USA in the first place.

I believe that we Canadians owe the United States of America billions of Canadian dollars for your role in policing the world amazingly well...... not perfectly.... .but astonishingly well....... for these last hundred and ten years or more.

You really never sent us a bill for a reasonable percentage of all that you did.....
but you could have....
(and I am one of those Canadians who would recommend that we pay up)......

and my plan has the down side of possibly causing the USA and Canadian dollars to go to par value with each other.... which would terrify a lot of American and Canadian economists?????

How about seeing to it that their soldiers have all been injected with graphene oxide so that they will ultimately be controlled by electrical inputs? It seems like we're almost there in the US.

Vaccine policies must accommodate the small number of workers who cannot be vaccinated for medical or religious reasons protected under human rights legislation.

As a union, we recognize our obligation to those members who are not vaccinated.

Measures such as alternate work arrangements, screening, and pro-active testing before entering the workplace can be effective.

Harassment and shaming of workers who refuse vaccination is never appropriate.
