    This is the kind of politician we need! Standing up to political correct nonsense is becoming cool. Looks like the liberal progressive bubble has burst.

    I am perfectly OK with these types of monuments put in a museum but it is time for the American people to tell the left to go away. All this politically correct jibber jabber has done nothing but divide the nation.

    Does anyone even pay attention to the NAACP any more?

    We get it already! The South never really wanted to be a part of the US. We should have just ended the country with the Civil War.

    yes we know the right things Southern Confederates were fine people and we should have monuments on state house lawns and in the public square to honor them

    how about we move them to a Trump golf course

    They weren't an issue for decades until someone decided to get offended during the last administration. It's great to see more politicians not doubling over backwards for the titbag progs that search deep and wide for something to complain about. I say leave it up so we can keep the progressives happy by letting them have something to be angry over, plus they'll stop finding everything else to be so bitter about. Win/win.

    I don't see anyone jumping up to stop California. Hopefully they go and other blue states follow. Northern aggression started the Civil War because they couldn't make due without us.     I don't know why you project these strange emotions on to things the people represented in the monuments are dead. They can't feel any honor. So if you're honoring them because there's a statue that's a you problem.
