Nadler: Formal Impeachment procedures now underway

Impeachment is officially on.

First step: the Judiciary Committee investigates and determines Articles of Impeachment to be brought to the floor of the house. This is the stage we are in. So we can expect a vote on Impeachment by the House by the end of the year. Which is step two. If Impeachment passes the House, then Impeachment Trial goes to the Senate.

The democrats are doing the absolutely stupidest thing they can do. The still have no clue how to deal with Trump.

The vote will be entirely partisan. It will die in the Senate. It will be a huge win for Trump and insure his election in 2020.

I'm not sure we can get to there just because Nadler is saying they are asking for information so the Judiciary Committee can decide whether articles of impeachment should be drawn up. It's a strategy designed to put pressure on the courts to enforce the subpoenas that have been issued.

 

What's the first article of impeachment say, what is the specific crime as determined by whom?
