Nancy Pelosi Upset That Trump Didn’t Visit Countries Alphabetically

House Minority leader Nancy Pelosi fielded questions Thursday about President Donald Trump’s visit to the Middle East, and if it was successful. She started off by recalling her own trips abroad.

“I was in uh, like four countries five countries, whatever … if anyone said anything to me…they would bring up president Trump, and I would say: you know what? That is not why we are here. We don’t criticize our president, when we go abroad. We may have our disagreements, which we fully air in our own country, but we don’t go overseas and criticize our president.”She then went on to directly criticize President Trump for visiting Saudi Arabia first.

“It was unusual for the President of the United States to go to Saudi Arabia first. Saudi Arabia? It wasn’t even alphabetical,” Pelosi said.

If that wasn’t strange enough, Pelosi then started citing what past presidents had done.

“President Reagan, President George Herbert Walker Bush, President Clinton, President George W. Bush, and President Obama, four of them went to Canada first and one of the went to Mexico first… our friends and neighbors. What was the decision making process to go to Saudi Arabia first? That’s a question that I have”

My friends on the Left - you have audacity criticizing president Trump for this and that, while your own House leader utters an absolutely brilliant pearl of intelligent thought, worthy of, perhaps, Hank Jonson, and you do not criticize her?

israel only provides strategic military position for America, which would come first alphabetically.

I have no problem with DJ Trump starting all the way south (in Arabia) and working his way north thru Israel, Rome, Brussels, etc.

By coincidence it turned out to be alphabetical anyway:

- Arabia

- Israel

- Rome

etc.

 

As was noted, you do, your fellow liberals do, and they continue to re-elect them. The question is: why continue to support them?? At what point does blind partisanship acknowledge that these two legislators are mentally incapable of performing their duties??

Also, if anyone is protecting anyone, it's you, albeit in a passive way, by saying that - well, let's be kind and call it an unusual question - isn't worth caring about. Thing is, as much fun as it was to make fun of Obama and his 57-state comment, I knew he really didn't think that; that it was just a misspeaking on his part. But this bizarre comment by Pelosi - that's not some kind of accidental Spoonerism or suchlike. That's a window into how her thinking (such as it is) operates.

 

You didn't understand her at all. What she was saying is that there was no reason to visit the Saudis first, and then said it wasn't even alphabetical so there wasn't even a rigid alphabetical reason to go there first. Her point was that there was no reason to go to the Saudis first and the alphabet was only a joke to enforce the point. Maybe if you had a humor chip in your head you wouldn't make a whole thread about something so pointless.
