    That's because it's that "withdrawal symptom" of Marxist Leninism Sobo.....you're lashing out since you've been brow beaten by a failed ideology! Most EGs had nothing, substandard living conditions, food, services.

    In WG....they had ....plenty, more richer and an encouraging ideology. Individualism, higher standards, etc. That's why it's "different" Sobo. You just don't realize it...LOL.

    The real objective in space is to live off the resources that are there. We are never going to build cities in space as long as we keep trying to haul all the buildings all the way up from the bottom of this immense gravity well we live at the bottom of.

    Did you try "punching" any of them? How do you know?

    Where have you been in western Germany?
    You travel much there? Munich, Stuttgart, Cologne, Nuremberg, Mannheim, Dusseldorf, Hanover, Bremen, Hamburg(visit Reeperbahn and clean your pipes?):)), Frankfurt?

    Oh?? You did? Why you punch them? Didn't you say you were "Bundespolizei"? Or something like it?

    You can't go around punching people at random, can you? You get reported,charged with assaulting, lose your job?

    Uh yeah....it's your "job". Sure....I'm sure you don't go around at random cracking heads....you'll lose your job, get demoted, sit at a desk. It's not old East Germany, Stasi, anymore, Sobo. You can say what you like.

    Because if you're Bundespolizist.....(equivalent to State Troopers here), there's laws where you can't just "best people up"....or Landspolizist(county sheriff here), where you just look after local ****.

    The U.S. has plenty of money to fund a manned mission to Mars or anywhere else.

    We put astronauts on the moon while at the same time fighting a land war in Asia and a war on poverty at home. And we lost both of those.

    You do realize that thought a number of German rocket scientists and engineers helped build the Saturn V rocket, American advancements in rocketry were equal to those of Germany anyway. I assume you have heard of Dr. Robert Goddard..

    Mars has a carbon dioxide atmosphere which can be used along with hydrogen to create Methane/Oxygen rocket fuel. I would assume you might've read the Mars mission planning by Dr. Robert Zubrin.
