Fixing? You think what Trump, the most divisive president in modern US history, is doing is "fixing" anything?

Unions have a direct correlation with a country's labor protections.

They either both do or neither do. It's called equality.

Do their contracts say they have to stand for the national anthem. News to me.

Maybe if the Nascar drivers took a knee during the national anthem attendance would stop dropping. Or maybe they should just have more crashes.

You're saying that to a member who chose "capitalism" as his username... I think your message is going to be wasted on the likes of him.

I have lived here for the better part of 50 years and I have not noticed my state being over run by illegals. Everything seems great to me. What a beautiful day it is. Golf beckons. I would really like to meet some of you Californians who are always saying how horrible it is here. Why the hell don't you guys leave. If I was so miserable here, I'd get the hell out. Robert, it seems that you, Apacherat and Brewskier are really disgusted in our great state and blame your misery on those darned Mexicans and Negroes. I will chip in and get you guys some one way bus tickets to Idaho where the white man still reigns supreme and there are hardly any Jews.

Well Jack, perhaps you bought into a white community.

We posters agree with each other and you do not. I can live with that.

That is a lot of illegals given our population is next to 40 million here.

I'm pretty sure poosies and non poosies alike know what the meaning and ideals of what the rainbow flag stands for.

When it's politicized by a community organizer it pisses off many and divides society.

It was intentionally done to divide America.

Actually over 10 million native born Americans have already fled California. The exodus began in the late 1970's.

There was no decrease in the state's population, they were all replaced by mostly illegal aliens and legal immigrants.

Those who left California were mostly right of center politically and were the Californian's who use to keep California's tax coffers full.

California back when it was great use to be # 1 in just about everything. The best public schools in America. The best roads and highways and bridges in America. at the top in personal freedoms. # 1 in the quality of life. Business friendly and low taxes.

Today California is at the bottom of all of the above.

But California is # 1 in taxes today !!!

In California they tell you how long of a shower you can take, when you can throw a log in the fireplace and what kind of gun you can own to protect your family and home.

    Yes.
Just not NASCAR races but formula one car races, at the Indy 500, air shows (planes instead of cars), and live televised police car chases on the streets of L.A.

President Trump is facing a whole lot of "RESISTANCE."

America became divided during the Obama administration.

Obama by profession is a community organizer.

What do community organizers do ?

They agitate, cause trouble and divide society.

    Alinskyism 101.

Most normal people I know do not enjoy spending hours watching a car drive in a circle.

I suppose being normal today is spending hours texting on a I-phone or smart phone.

NASCAR racing is a spectator sport, just like most team sports.

Putting it in an arena allows not only for spectators to view the entire race but also for a race strategy that race fans know and enjoy.

Closing 500 miles of the interstate in order to put on a NASCAR race would be kind of problematic.

Intentionally done to include those who felt excluded. That uptight bigots became emotionally outraged was and is simply a byproduct and points only to the bigot's discomfort with their own sexuality.

You might want to look up the definition of "bigot" before using the word.

Gov. Jerry Brown is a climate change bigot.

Most men of the cloth are bigots.

Many of the LGBT activist are bigots.

I love how you lump all four of those in the exact same category. Good work. :) Here, let me try:
Ever seen the Antifa or the Taliban or Hitler or Satan himself or Saddam or Nancy Pelosi or Crooked Hillary or even toddwv attending a NASCAR race ?
    I can answer that one...NO. ;-)

I don't look at people and see right of center or left of center, or illegal or legal. I have lived in the state for 53 years and I really enjoy the people. When I first moved here it was pretty wasps white bread and the restaraunts were pretty crappy. Now it seems that dozens of different cultures are represented along with the great influx from New York and Philly who came and opened great Italian restaraunts and the Lebanese, Persian, Armenian and Palestinian immigrants have brought delicious middle eastern cuisine . I grew up in San Fernando which always had a large Mexican population and many of my best friends and business partners are Mexicans. They are great people in my book. One of my best friends is a guy I picked up at a paint store in about '76 when I was in the business of buying fixers and remodeling them for resale. He was new to this country and didn't speak much English but he was extremely smart, dependable and a great worker and craftsman. He became my closest friend and business associates. We made a lot of money together, our kids played ball together and went to school together. His boys both went to UCLA on baseball scholarships and now one is a Lawyer and the other one is a successful contractor who is in business with my son. We are like family. That's why when I hear bitter losers blaming all of their failures in life and their miserable lives on illegals, it makes me want to slap them upside the head to wake them up. I am a proud Angelino and a very proud Californian. I love it here as it is truly the land of opportunity. Viva California!!!

I have ten years on you, I was brought to California in 1953 by my parents when the population of the state was just a little over 10 million. L.A. County today is about 10 million today.

San Fernando, know it well. It's the home of the first Mexican street gang in America, it was founded in the late 1890's.

Since you have lived in California for many years you know who Huell Howser is (RIP) "California Gold," "Visiting With Huell Howser."

It was one of "Visitng With Huell Howser" when he was visiting one of the neighborhoods in L.A. It was some where around the Eagle Rock, Highland Park area. While standing outside of an apartment building covered with gang graffiti a young white liberal girl in her early 20's came outside and Huell started interviewing her asking questions about the neighborhood.

When Huell pointed to the graffiti and asked her about it, guess what her response was ?

Her repsonse was "Isn't diversity great."
