No, I don't. I oppose gun control laws, and the philosophy behind them. "Whatever" is not the response of someone who has interest in a respectful give-and-take.
This is an incredibly accurate and logical response 6Gunner. I applaud your well thought out response. Thank you.
You oppose laws that deprive felons of guns? You want those laws repealed? You want all gun laws repealed? Is that your stance?
I was going to ask why you're presenting more junior high debate arguments then I realized they were actually elementary level.
I met a young lady last eve at a local Pub. She was all of about 5'. Her Husband was about 6'5". At one point she proclaimed had a permit and she carries most days... was trained from a young age by her Da and was comfortable around guns. Her husband hunts, hunting was the topic that started the conversation, but doesn't have a permit or carry. At one point, she turned and commented, 'I protect his a**.', he nodded. I responded Maithe thu', meaning good for her. She had a great no non sense attitude... were I thirty years younger and she unmarried... They were a nice couple and she a trap for wolves.... a good thing to see. He decided he would attend one of my courses and I gave him a free pass, she wanted to attend our force on force course... a trouper that I have some confidence will do well. Nice to see. They are out there, bad guys beware.
Not all gun-related laws are "gun control." When it comes to felons, there are a number of Constitutional Rights felons lose upon conviction (including the right to vote) and I agree with that; although I believe a felon who has changed his life and proven himself rehabilitated should have legal venues to have those rights restored, and the right to bear arms is one of them.
Evidence? Besides, you're making my point. You can't just paint a broad brush on gun deaths anymore can you paint a broad brush with car deaths. And being that there are more guns than cars I'd still argue that statistically speaking you are safer with a gun than you are with a gun.
Some people it's almost 24/7. If you want to back up your claim then compare gun accidents by cops to car accidents by cops. Cops carry about as much as they drive yet it's cars that's killing them.
I don't have too. The gun statistics make them for us. More guns than ever, 50% decrease in gun violence. No matter how much you want to troll the issue that statistic tells it all.
aww... am i too late? it looks as if the 'protect me from evil guns' crowd has run out of arguments already. damn. always happens tho
i got plenty, but its nothing that aint already been said, and you gun control folks stopped making points or counter points quite a ways back. it looks to me like ur just tryna get the 'last word' in so the score doesnt look so lopsided
You are just dealing with one of these. In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into an emotional responses.
Then you should stop replying to me. Immediately. You should place me on ignore. You are free from the debate.
