    Jimmy But!er to Philly.

    Thoughts?

Who do you have in The Finals?

Is Golden St. coming out of the West again?

Could Butler be the missing piece that gets Philly to the Finals?

    Discuss NBA 2018-19 here.:salute:

Celtics need to play more defensively like they did last year. They seemed to open up with more of a flow the last few seasons. Right now it's hit or miss.

As of right now, I would pick Toronto to go to the finals in the east. Not because of their record, but because of their new chemistry.

Interesting that they got rid of Casey b/c he lost in the playoffs, even though he won Coach of the Year and they had the #1 seed in the East.

Btw-- Tonight Casey makes his first return trip to Toronto as Pistons coach.

Toronto tried to pull a stud move. They weren't satisfied with "just" making the playoffs.

They can't sustain the talent long term though. Contract season is approaching. I'd wager that this year they will do great, and struggle in the next year or two

I'm not technically a sport person but the way I see things Golden State needs to get their selves up. Can't forget the 21 points v 0 on run with Houston.

    ROFL

    ...

I view the Butler trade exactly as I view this Sports' Forum: Peculiarity Breeds Misprision!

    a la carte Redick Embiid Simmons & TJ, who lack the mental fortitude to let But!er play the roll which we see Lebron play or Kyrie play or neo-Westbrook now playing;
that UBER-hybrid who efficiently dictates the flow to ensure those 3-4 minute intervals where the offense showcases the young stars.

When did Lebron say that he hates Superteams?

Jordan had a Superteam (Pippen, Rodman) and no one complained about it when they had their 3peat, so...Lebron can have his 2nd superteam.

Plus Lebron didn't need a Superteam to get to the 2015, 2017, nor 2018 NBA Finals, so...he's worthy of having Anthony Davis. He's earned that level of help.

Warriors (without KD) beat the Rockets (at Houston) in Game 6.

    Onto the West Finals.

    Played a good game tonight.

They lost, but they covered the spread.

The Blazers may not win this series. Golden State is very strong, even without Durant. And when they get him back, I think they will be unbeatable. But one thing about the Blazers is that they don't get down on themselves. They will not believe Golden State can win this series until GS actually does. The Blazers are a very mentally tough team. They came close in this last game, on GS's home floor. The Blazers are a very good home team. I hope they win at home and push this series to 7 games.

Lillard and CJ are as good One-Two scoring punch that you will find on any team.

They just gotta take care of biz in Portland.

A series never really starts until someone wins a road game.

Yes and the Cavs are owned by a man who has to fly in from, Detroit, where he lives and headquarters his Empire from; lucky Cavs!

Did you post this is the wrong, thread, since it is news regarding the 2019-2020 season? I think that those peculiar members here who hate the, NBA, had better make haste creating a thread to confine next season's discussions to like they did for 2018-'19 season.

    Will Bucks defend Home Court?

The Home Team has won all 4 games.

Will the Raptors break that tide?
