Yes, your line in the sand.
You've shown your line many many times now. WE get it.

    Second Amendment

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

    another dishonest fail/

I asked you to explain where the federal government obtained the power to ban or regulate all those arms that you cited. Instead of answering properly you completely avoided my question

Sorry you believe the 2A is a dishonest amendment. But you have a right to your own opinion.

    ...
    • The Supreme Court struck down a New York state law requiring applicants for a license to carry a gun outside of their homes to have a “proper cause” to do so.
    • The court said the law violated the Second Amendment.
    • The ruling is a major victory for gun rights advocates who had challenged New York’s restrictive law, which makes it a crime to carry a concealed firearm without a license.

Looks like the 10A means nothing to the USSC

where do you get this nonsense that I think the second amendment is dishonest.
and the tenth amendment would not have any bearing on a state violation of the second as incorporated. try again, your lack of understanding of the tenth is patent

Based on your response to me. Where else would I get it from?
What violation did the State do? Based on the 10A?
Your lack of understanding, actually you're just making it all up, is patent.

the tenth amendment is not particularly relevant when someone claims a state government violates the constitutional rights that were imposed on the states through incorporation through the 14th amendment. That you raise the tenth amendment here suggests you are grasping at straws. I guess you could claim that states have powers to regulate firearms and that relates to the tenth but you miss the concept of incorporation. In the current case, the State of NY violated the second amendment as it was imposed on the state of new york through the 14th amendment and McDonald v Chicago

I raise the 10A, because that is the basis of your antigun stance. Which isn't quite enough to make your case. Then you need to bring up the 14A also.
You use many hoops to justify your infringements.
    But the 2A says this,

    Second Amendment

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

If the option is gun control or nothing, then nothing is the only option.

That's a distinction without difference. Really that option is do nothing or do nothing.

    more silliness:

    Here is what dairyair wants:

He wants the federal government to ban all adults between the age of 18 and 20 from being able to buy or own any firearm

He wants to force those who pass a background check to have to wait several days to pick up their firearm

Here is what I want: the USSC to rule that the federal government has no proper power in this area and strike down the GCA of 68, the Hughes Amendment and the 1934 NFA.

Enforce McDonald v Chicago and strike down every state law that

bans any type of hand held firearm
    magazine limits
    waiting periods
    may issue carry permits
    and other malum prohibitum laws

dairyair claims I am anti gun because he is trying to pretend that if you say oppose people owning weaponized anthrax or nukes you are no different than people like him who want to ban millions of honest Americans from being able to buy commonly owned rifles

And none of it is to do anything but wield power over the demographic that is the most law abiding (more than police)

On gun control, I am a fan; if there is one gun in the room I want control of it because I trust myself more than anyone else or any government to always do the right thing relative to firearms.
