    It further reads…

so people fighting misinformation are actually giving misinformation. They should report these names of fake doctors so the public is aware of their lies as well. This also proves it’s not about misinformation but about an attack on free speech. The lefts go to lately is to kill free speech. Obviously they are willing to use misinformation to try and kill the 1st amendment. Then people will defend it. It’s absolutely crazy.

As far as Neil young goes I’m pretty sure Joe Rogan has more listeners than that guy. His music isn’t even fast pace enough to be classified as country anymore. I didn’t even know who he was until this article. But he’s another lefty trying to kill free speech. Not surprising.

Why don't people instead of wanting people banned that differ from their "science" offer up a debate on the subject. Clearly they don't want to debate because there is plenty of real science that refutes their "science".

First and foremost.... there is zero.. I mean ZERO science that shows that children should be getting this vaccine. If children catch covid, their chances of hospitalizations and or death are near zero and the vaccine does not prevent infection nor does it prevent transmission. This is an irrefutable fact that the left continues to ignore.

Can't say as I've bought or listened to Neil Young other than a car radio, even then it was only long enough to change the station :)

Not a fan, never was even growing up in the sixties..

Neil Young? Yeah, he wrote some pretty good songs back in the '60's and '70's, but except for a small handful of songs, like "Cinnamon Girl", he never really could actually sing worth a damn. But, hey, back then we'd just roll a joint, chug down some cheap Vin Rosé, and whatever we listened to after that didn't really matter. He always had that irritatingly high-pitched voice that made me think of a whiny teenaged boy. But, hey, let's 'throw him a bone':

And, man, he sure hasn't aged well as time has gone on (but, really, none of us does.... )

But, to be fair, who the hell is "Joe Rogan"...?

[IMG]. ♪ "Ma, send me money now...." ♫ :cynic: -- "The first 'adult-child'...?"

He is clearly to old to understand the internet :) As with any media, it's free for the taking, the only way to secure it's worth is to NEVER RECORD IT and only perform it live!

    And that's impossible

To be fair I’ve heard of joe Rogan a lot. But I’ve never listened to him either. But it does not change the fact that the left is trying to silence him with literally lying about who they are so it stands to reason that Joe himself may not be lying.

if you can’t dispute lies with facts so you choose to lie to try and silence him I think that says tons about his message. I know Joe supports ivermectin and I was recently laughing at someone who chose to take that over the doctors advice…. He felt better the next day. First day of recovery happened under ivermectin. So maybe old Joe Rogan isn’t so crazy.

Rogan is a great podcaster (to put it mildly), and he certainly pulls more traffic on Spotify than Young does. But, yes, he also spreads misinformation. I've spoken favorably of Rogan in the past, including here on the forums, but he needs to be more responsible.

Keep on Rockin' in the Free World!!!

Not really sure why this warrants its own thread... I posted this news in the original Spotify thread...

    Horrible singer... No question...

But Neil's been a vocal advocate for many "progressive" causes for decades.... Go read the lyrics of "Southern Man", from 1970... pretty powerful stuff there.. When a band feels the need to release a song in response to your song, you know you've hit a nerve there..

I happen to like Joe Rogan and his podcasts. I don't always agree with him, sometimes I do. BUT, like everything else, I know it's his opinion and also the opinion of his guests. It's not gospel nor is it rules to live by.
    Neil Young should chill.
Same with Bill Maher but Maher is much funnier.

Some of his songs of the early 70s were eerily prophetic.

“The Needle and the Damage Done”

“Ohio” was about the killing of 4 Kent State University students by the National Guard when they fired into a crowd of war protesters.

He's a music icon, regardless of what people feel about his politics . . . even those who now want to pretend that they've never heard of him. Still, I have no doubt Rogan pulls more traffic on Spotify.

Damn you beat me to it! Who gives a damn what he says the Southern Man don't need him around anyway.

I know he's like a folk icon and everything but that doesn't mean I've not never cared much for his nasally whiny voice.

So I guess he's consistent he's still whining.

Beat that straw man beat it!
I just read through this entire thread I saw no one pretending not to know who he is.

Unless you're speaking about the world in general...

The OP literally claimed to not know who he was. Please try reading the thread before "responding." And the world in general knows who he is. He's one of the most famous American musicians. But it is hilarious to see you pivot from "no one is pretending not to know who he is" to claiming that the world in general doesn't know who he is. Look, I get it, he offended your politics, so you have to make up some ****.

FYI, the signatories to the letter never lied about who they were, clearly identifying roles and/or qualifications in the initial list. It was lazily reported by various sources, positive and negative, as "270 doctors" and that was subsequently (mis)used to attack them, as you have also done. That is never what they claimed though, if anything the exact opposite, promoting the diversity of voices included. It could also be argued that some of them appear more qualified to speak on this specific subject as a generic medical doctor, though their concern was misinformation on the platform in general anyway.

Well, I don't smoke giggle-weed anymore, I don't drink Vin Rosé either, and, I've lived the last 50 years of my life without paying any further attention to Neil Young. Aside: my generation thought we'd make the world a much better place, but we didn't... so, screw it. Truth is, the whole damn thing is in much worse shape now than it was back then....

These days, to me, 'music' means classical composers, like Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Wagner, Haydn, Handel, and other Northern Europeans, like Sibelius... but I'm also a very big fan of Italian composers -- Mercadante, Respighi, Vivaldi, Albinoni, Boccherini, and others.

Now, who the hell is Joe Rogan...? :confusion: I wouldn't know the man if I passed him on the sidewalk....

Rogan is an MMA fighter, comedian, and actor who is now probably the world's biggest podcaster. He produces a lot of good stuff, but also has a lot of bad takes.

As far as giggle-weed goes, here's my favorite routine of his:

Oh you got me there I just briefly glanced at the op but literally no one else has claimed anything of that nature.

And I did not say the world in general does not know who he is anyone over probably 20 years old with a pulse is aware of who he is.

And if you read more carefully I said unless you are referring to the world in general because aside from missing it in the op I didn't see it in the entire thread so stop projecting the one who's making things up here would be you.
