    Always has been. A full scale US attack on Iran will likely kill over a million people and displace millions more. The Pentagon will not discriminate in the bombing. They'll flatten it because that's what it's gonna take to "win". I also predict that US Special Forces will utilize the "Salvador Option" as they did in Iraq. This time with Sunni paramilitaries. Passive civilian support for Iranian insurgents will compel them to do so. US advisers will oversee the interogations and then look the other way when the squads dump the bodies.

    That is a curious set of opinions based on no knowledge of what the Pentagon knows. I would like the U.S. to reduce its military and stop using it in such a bellicose way but there are always some provocation involved when it does. You simply don't know what that is so you substitute opinion as though it were fact. I think we normally refer to that as trolling.

    Words are cheap, and Trump demonstrates that as well as any seasoned politician.

    He has backed away from many of his statements. He is an authoritarian war monger, nothing less.

    The Pentagon Papers revealed just how skilled at lying and deception the Pentagon is. Are you so young that you missed the lesson learned by them?

    How can you believe a word they say? Without war they would not have anything to do, and promotions would be few.

    I agree, but men like Bolton, Trump and Pompeo don't see it that way.

    Moreover, it they can milk another 15 years worth of sales out of such a war, the military industrial complex has profits to gain.
