Prime minister tells World Zionist Congress that Hitler only wanted to expel the Jews, but Jerusalem's Grand Mufti convinced him to exterminate them, a claim that was rejected by most accepted Holocaust scholars.

The Grand Mufti met with Hitler in 1941 and the Final Solution was drafted in 1942.

Netanyahu claims the Grand Mufti played a central role in fomenting the Final Solution

Came across this earlier today. I have to admit, I had no knowledge of this possible scenario. I wanted to post here and see what the political forum members have to say about it. Do you think this statement made by Netanyahu is grounded in fact? Does he make a valid point? Or do you think Hitler made the decision to exterminate the Jews on his own volition?

If this is true it would certainly put the Palestinians and their motives under a different light.

Bibi started this shifting blame to the Mufti about 10 years ago.. Its the latest justification for what the Zionists have done to the Palestinians.

A Brit who sloppily said that originally they had just wanted to expel the Jews and then went crazy was declared the most dangerous antisemite in the UK and thrown out of his political party.

I think what got them was that he mentioned the Transfer Agreement and anyone who could possibly imagine that the Nazis had in any way a positive relationship with the Zionists ought to be burned on a spit.

Strange how Netanyhu can say things which when anyone else says them is considered disgustingly antisemetic.
