Of course neither the US or Israeli are pretending any more - not about any justice or rights for the Palestinians and America's Christian Right continue to whoop up on how cool they are to destroy a people and please their God while promoting genocide against Muslims.

What we see in Gaza is the terrorising and brutalising of an occupied people by religious and xenophobic extremists in the United States and in Israel either in or supported by their Governments. So the US has as real cool friends Saudi Arabia who it started helping to create fighting islamist fanatic groups in the Russia/US/Aghans wars despite the pleas from Afghan leaders to stop and has been funding and training them when wanted since.
