I hope so. I was tempted to watch it, but I have been unhappy with the television series adaptation of Marvel comics from the standpoint of it being mostly like a soap opera in nature (Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and etc) with way too little action.
Really? I've had quite the opposite impression. I think the Marvel/Netflix shows have had some outstanding fight scenes, and didn't think it was weighed down with soap opera concerns.
There is a lot of action in this one...but they went a bit overboard on the dramatic scenes of him remembering his family. And in the original, he had one kid..not two. At least, I don't remember 2. Also, this guy in no way could survive the brutality dished to him and get up to keep on going. Those parts were pretty much eye rolly material. However, there was a lot of action and it kept me wanting to continue watching. What they do with the second season remains to be seen.
