This is a perfect example of far left indoctrination at work. Well, not perfect. Usually its far more subtle than this. Critical Race Theory is, quite frankly, Trash. With a capital T. Much like any other form of identity politics it pits group against group. Race against race. It takes individual examples and applies it to the whole. Blaming one group/race while making out other race/groups to be the victims. And it most certainly should NOT be taught in our schools. Know who else used indoctrination in schools with the express purpose of pitting one group against another? Hint: It wasn't Geppetto. Oh and...who the hell thought that a Sociology class would be a good thing to exist in a school that caters to K-12 AND make it required? Oh right...leftists. Of course. Gotta start the indoctrination young after all.
This is why people need to seriously get involved in school board meetings and things like that. If I was sending kids to public schools in these times I would be very concerned. Progressives are a sick breed and they will stoop as low as they need to go to fundamentally change the world.
And I'm puzzled why so many people still stick with the liberals and the democratic party. Who in their right mind would support such school policies as reported in the OP.
If this happened to get to court, the defense briefs and motions could make for some amusing reading.
The left threatens folks with force. It's what they do absent having a compelling narrative. And, as with this case, when you point out that their process is both unconstitutional and immoral, they simply pull the force trigger. We have to always remember that government isn't there to protect the people in a liberal's world. It's to protect them from the people.
This is a microcosm of what Biden & Co. plans for America and this is small potatoes. This is the kind of garbage they plan to replace religion with. Up until now this Orwellian junk was laughable, that will change. America is about to go down a rabbit hole from which there is no return. Think about it, if a group can successfully steal a presidential election, both houses of congress and the SCOTUS, they would feel empowered to do anything. The Democrat party is consummately corrupt, absolutely evil. This is the same evil we've witnessed throughout the twentieth century from the likes of Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Castro, Pol Pot et al and it continues in China and North Korea. Only idiots vote for this kind of evil even when there isn't even an attempt to conceal it. The left hates America because their beliefs are grounded in the lies they have been assaulted with their entire lives. That capitalism is evil and that all of America’s ills are rooted in it while they are inundated with evidence to the contrary. The bounty and abundance that we enjoy and our economic freedom to pursue as much of that as we want does not exist anywhere else on the planet. Comfortable homes, multiple cars, all of the conveniences of technology, the latest fashion, unlimited media and entertainment, all the stuff you could possibly want is available to anyone who wants to work for it. This lifestyle, this access belongs only to the elite of all other nations. What we have here is truly unique and beyond our economic blessings is something much more valuable, our freedom. We are on the precipice of losing all of that, we have most recently had our right to vote nullified by the most blatant, deliberate and criminal act ever perpetrated against America. This is far, far worse than 9/11 yet half the country is okay with that and any denial of that fact is intellectually dishonest.This was an act committed by Americans against America not a foreign enemy, how could anyone be okay with that? What they did was against all Americans but sadly that won’t become obvious until it is too late, so I’ll give you a preview. What is already obvious is the restrictions on our ability to make a living, being forced to stay home and denied the freedom to do something about that. It may not feel like it yet but it’s a boot on our necks and they’re trying to ease us into that. Look how much you already, willingly accept and how rapidly this has occurred and the the bad stuff hasn’t even started. Everyday it becomes more apparent, news items from all over about low level politicians issuing ridiculous edicts that limit freedom. Imagine waiting in line in the cold to do your grocery shopping, that’s happening. Imagine being pulled over and issued a fine for not wearing your mask in your car, that’s happening. Imagine being arrested for walking alone on a beach, that is happening. These idiot politicians aren’t limited to your local constables, more than a few governors are jumping on the bandwagon. Joe Biden is no more the POTUS than I am and will never be. That title will begin and end with his inauguration. A determined enemy is about to take over America, destroy it and rebuild it into some sort of marxist dystopia, kiss the Constitution goodbye. We the People will have no meaning, government will no longer serve the people, officials will be representatives of the authoritarian state. Let that sink in. They will be coming for your guns, all of them.You will be parting with all of that capitalism bestowed upon you and own nothing not even yourself. All of your material wealth will be forfeit as well as your investments, savings and retirement. If you have a comfortable home in the suburbs you may have to cede acreage to build public housing or accommodate new room mates. If you are lucky enough to be employed plan on forking over half your pay in taxes after all somebody has to pay for all of our new citizens and their needs. Massive wealth redistribution will take place and there will be only two classes, us, the peasantry and them, the ruling class. Your freedom to move about will become severely restricted so don’t ever plan on out of state travel on the holidays ever again. The robust economy we now enjoy will become anemic and the cost of everything will soar and many things that we take for granted will become scarce. Gasoline and home heating fuel prices will resemble western Europe’s which in some places is $7 dollars a gallon. Everything you take for granted will become a luxury and you will have to pick and choose. All of the inconveniences we now suffer are a snapshot of America’s future. Economic justice will finally be realized, poverty for all. All of the commerce that was lost this year is never coming back, schools will remain shuttered and eventually even remote learning will cease. Again, look at the speed in which this has occurred, this is no frog in a pot, this is a blitzkrieg, c’mon, they’re not even trying to hide it. After January comes the great reset, the left will celebrate the fall of America and welcome the new global governance.
I agree with the student and parent suing the school over this one. No reason for this type of assignment.
