Every season Pats start out with some kind of bad loss. Each time you hear the same nonsense from haters "Brady's done!". That's what I feed off of.

Bring it on haters! Gonna whine like a girl when Brady wins his 6th!

I made the prediction of an EZ Patriot win in the NFL thread.

I know right? What the hell? Edelman, now Gronk. I hope this is not a serious injury.

It looked like coach kept him out on purpose. Pats already secured the win when he went down. Probably just precautionary.

Supposedly a "minor (not serious)" groin injury.

We really need Hightower back. We need leadership on that defense.

Seeing Dr. Andrews about the knee can't be a good sign.

    The D did OK yesterday.

Brees really didn't "carve them up" like some thought might happen.

I honestly think the league needs to watch out for TB Bucs. Being a pats fan I know we match up much worse against them than Atlanta. I think Tampa is going to be a major thorn in the NFC's side.

I predicted them to be the NFC pick for the SB.

Just a thought...but Atlanta is off to a hot start.

    Winston is really great.

The TB/Atl games are going to be showcase material.

TB v Atl might decide the NFC.

TB is clicking on all cylinders right now. As for the pats, we really need Hightower back. I like Van Noy but with Ninko gone, our leadership is lacking. Gilmore will get better and better as he learns our defensive playbook. Sometimes takes corners a while to settle in.

A lot of peeps have faith in the Pats v Panthers this weekend.

The game opened in Vegas with NE as a -8.5 Home Fave and it had initially dropped to -8.

Now Westgate has it at Pats -9.

Lotsa peeps with BIG LOVE for the Pats wanting to take advantage of Cam (potentially) crapping the bed.

Gotta wonder if peeps are expecting a 41-31 kind of game.

Never EVER expect a Pats win against an NFC team. Panthers have a great coach, a wild card QB, and some serious defensive talent. They may be doing crappy now, but that can turn around at any second. As a Pat's fan, I should be concerned about the Panthers. Our defense looks like they are flinging **** off a stick.

Newton does not look healthy at all, and my boy Cooks is settling in to the Patriots attack. Pats roll by 10.

Pats -5 on TNF should be a LOCK.

I literally punched my cousin as hard as I could in the leg for guaranteeing a win over Carolina!

Remember my post last week about us playing Carolina? Can't guarantee anything with our HORRIBLE defense.

If the Pats don't win (and COVER the spread) tonight, it will be bye-bye Super Bowl.

They need to make a big statement in tonight's TNF game.

Whether they win or lose....I still can't see them winning the SB this year, imho.

Win tonight, I still think they could win the SB.

Lose tonight, a 10 or 11 win team that doesn't get there.

No way. It's way too early to make statements like this. It took Revis 6 games to adjust to our playbook. Gilmore looked much better. Hightower is back and rushed the edges well. We played a great team and won. The pats D keeps improving so that's good news.

Way too early to talk playoffs though.

After Gronk's injury status was announced and he was ruled out--the Vegas line fluctuated between Pats -4.5 to Pats -3.5.

The final consensus Vegas Line was either Pats -3.5 or Pats -4.

The Pats DID WIN (and DID COVER) 19-14.

    Great win.

    Only 14 points surrendered.

Brady did a great job without Gronk and the D did a good job containing Winston.

    Onward and upward.

The Pats COVERED the spread. Money. :salute:
