The VA is the largest government run healthcare in the country.

I used to get calls at least once a month from VA doctors wanting to get out of the system.. I would like to see the VA close and sell off their facilities.. Veterans could go to any doctor and any hospital for free.

Competition is good for the consumer. If Obamacare can't stand it, then what does that say about Obamacare?

Why would we not want this option?

WTF are you talking about? My healthcare has already been destroyed. This is a very positive step. Competition and Free Markets always improve quality and price.

Share a link and show us how the Free Market failed miserably on health care.

I have already posted it several times.. Georgia tried it some years ago.

There's no such thing as "free market healthcare".

Georgia tried selling insurance across state lines.. Dismal failure.

There has NEVER been Freemarket healthcare because patients don't order from a menu of services.

How come more freedom and choice for Americans always destroys "progressives" policy goals?

Well, certainly changes can be made that make for a system with greater choices for consumers. Why does that always bother "progressives" so much?

Well there certainly can be a freer system where we have greater individual control over our healthcare. And since our form of government is dedicated to ever greater and greater individual control of one's life,, that is the direction we strive to forever be moving toward.

What is even more amazing is that anyone would have listened to 90 minutes of Hillary Clinton speech.

Individual control over healthcare is an illusion.. You don't order tests, procedures, medications or treatments.. You don't negotiate for an angioplasty or an appendectomy.......... or a certain type and dosage of anesthesia.

Oh, I don't see how greater choice in healthcare is a "problem" except for busy-bodies that want to control others. And I find that folks that forever want to control others, generally have little control over their own lives, and really that is where they should be focusing their efforts, on controlling their own lives.

Trump's plan allows more small businesses to pool their resources into associations that would then use their purchasing power to buy group plans for their employees, across State Lines, like big business does today.

They will also be able to purchase the plans their associates desire rather than the plans some government busy body thinks is best for them and these busy bodies generally already have cadillac plans paid for by the tax payers, the very folks whose choices they seek to restrict. As soon as the government workers arranged to get themselves exempted from Obamacare, I knew it wasn't a good plan for the rest of us.

Obamacare's exchange plans have no competition in one-third of U.S. counties. We should see expanded health reimbursement arrangements, or HSAs and greater access to short-term health plans for up to a year for people who are in between jobs, missed the enrollment deadline, or have few other insurance options.
