You mix up a lot of stuff. You have never had a very reliable command of the details.

    Could be. Who cares?

More idiocy from the Birthers. States do not issue SSNs. They never have.

    You guys are hopeless.

I saw this and just thought I would have to share:

“Dear Representatives Accornero, DeLemus and Baldasaro:(these were the NH state legislators at the meeting)

I have just had a meeting with Attorney General Delaney concerning the Ballot Law Commission hearing on November 18. He is concerned over how members of the House conducted themselves during and following the hearing, as well as for the safety of a member of his office who attended the meeting in an official capacity.

I am requesting that the Chief of Protective Services, Randy Joyner, conduct an investigation of the incident and provide a written report to me. In addition, I have been informed that the Attorney General has requested that Colonel Quinn of the State Police have his office conduct a review of the incident. Please provide both Protective Services and the State Police your full cooperation and candor should they contact you.

I am deferring any meeting concerning the issues underlying the November 18 hearing or the hearing itself until these reviews are completed.

    Sincerely,
    William L. O’Brien
    Speaker of the House
    (New Hampshire)"

This is how rational people view Birther behaviour.

No, from what I heard they were all wearing white hoods and carrying burning crosses.

Just like out of "Brother Where Art Thou".

I admit- made that up completely. Not sure what brought that to mind.

No, they were just the usual Birther crowd, calling anyone who disagreed with them traitors.

Another spanking is on the way for Orly.

The State of Hawaii says it's going to make a motion for attorney's fees and costs against Orly.

In its motion to oppose her frivolous request for a rehearing they also brought to the court's attention her previous $20K in sanctions for Rule 11 violations... teeing the court up to pile more such sanctions on top of making her pay costs.

As my dear departed Sicilian mother used to say, "About f*cking time!!!"

    Birthers lol.

Watergate started with an actual crime- with police and everything.

Perhaps we should consider what someone who was part of breaking Watergate wide open says about Birthers:

Bob Woodward says: “Let’s call things what they are. Donald Trump, I think, was or maybe still is aspiring to be the new Joe McCarthy. No evidence, but you make an assertion and you look at these things Trump said… people interviewing him at that moment should have said, ‘What’s your evidence?’ Trump has no evidence, and when you have no evidence you have nothing and the discussion of the subject should end.”

Bob Woodward: when you have no evidence you have nothing.

Everytime you mention Watergate from now on I look forward to sharing Bob Woodward's commentary on Birthers.

the thing about watergate was that it took so long after a minor crime, took down a whole president. before that nixon was surrounded by corruption. obama's the tail gunner joe, if anybody, more and more like your precious chavez everyday. are you a kennedy ?

I am a fan of this Bob Woodward:
While a young reporter for The Washington Post in 1972, Woodward was teamed up with Carl Bernstein; the two did much of the original news reporting on the Watergate scandal. These scandals led to numerous government investigations and the eventual resignation of President Richard Nixon. Gene Roberts, the former executive editor of The Philadelphia Inquirer and former managing editor of The New York Times, has called the work of Woodward and Bernstein "maybe the single greatest reporting effort of all time."[1]
Woodward continued to work for The Washington Post after his reporting on Watergate. He has since written over a dozen books on American politics, most of which have topped bestsellers lists.

Woodward made crucial contributions to two Pulitzer Prizes won by The Washington Post. First he and Bernstein were the lead reporters on Watergate and the Post won the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service in 1973.[5]

Woodward also was the main reporter for the Post's coverage of the September 11 attacks in 2001. Ten stories won the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting[6] – "six carrying the familiar byline of Bob Woodward," noted the New York Times article announcing the awards.[7]

He has been a recipient of nearly every other major American journalism award, including the Heywood Broun award (1972), Worth Bingham Prize for Investigative Reporting (1972 and 1986), Sigma Delta Chi Award (1973), George Polk Award (1972), William Allen White Medal (2000), and the Gerald R. Ford Prize for Reporting on the Presidency (2002).

Fred Barnes of the Weekly Standard called Woodward "the best pure reporter of his generation, perhaps ever."[8] In 2003, Albert Hunt of The Wall Street Journal called Woodward "the most celebrated journalist of our age." In 2004, Bob Schieffer of CBS News said, "Woodward has established himself as the best reporter of our time. He may be the best reporter of all time."[9]

This is the Woodward I was talking about. Not a perfect man, but compared to Jerome Corsi, a towering figure of journalistic reputation and integrity.

I would say it was reporting it as he saw it.

As I said, this is an actual award winning, respected journalist, rather than a hack tabloid writer like Corsi.

Woodward may not be perfect but he is a towering giant of integrity compared to Corsi.

woodwards integrity is certainly matched to the integrity of the pulitzer. i believe in dr. corsi. and you guys haven't disproven anything in his books. so we'll see.

back then though (watergate) i don't think your "awards" were just for democrats. the washington post is one of the biggest smear rags around now.

So let me get this right.... Scott thinks that journalists should not report what is true, but should instead edit their reporting so it makes the people who gave them access look good?

Birthers have the integrity of planaria.
