The worst sort of trash talk. It amounts to a personal attack on Democrats.

Thinking they were tested is a reasonable assumption. Supply is low, but there's money behind the parade. That's why you're watching it, the money. Economy and all. I believe they had access to tests.

What you suggested was pulled out of thin air. You're basically claiming that parade sponsors don't know what they're doing. Though you may be correct, simply assuming failure is not reasonable to assert.

Loud music along with singing is all part of the Macy's parade.

I suppose it's also a reasonable assumption, like I said before, that everyone was tested prior to casting and remained quarantined all through rehearsals up through the performances today. No, that's not reasonable.

one would hope, but I think Trump will become anti-vax as he wants to harm the vaccine rollout under Biden, time will tell

Out of curiosity, could you give me the peer-reviewed studies of all the long term adverse effects of the Covid vaccine on people? I think I will wait for those papers before I take the shot. It will be interesting to see if the elite publicly take the shot. I would love to see Silicon Valley oligarchs take the shot first.

I love this little bit of info:
I wonder what the reaction will be if Biden sends federal stormtroopers into the inner city and drags minorities from their homes to forcibly give them the shots.

It won't happen. They just need to make proof of a shot a requirement to get welfare benefits. Or to send kids to a public school. Or to enter a hospital. Or for more affluent areas, proof of a shot to get a Federal job, a passport, etc.

My prediction. Billions will be spent to vaccinate people, but the virus will mutate requiring yet another vaccine, and another, and another.

I'm pretty sure they came in contact with only themselves. You're pulling an infected contact right out of thin air. I have no idea where you're going with casting and rehearsal.

You have no idea who they came in contact with. Every lib who got caught in public without a mask has apologized, except Pelosi, she was set up.

Aside from you being wrong about what we should all do, I think you're on to something about individual action.

The first thing you can do is obtain PPE for your family. Get a high-quality respirator for each one of you--an N95, at least, and probably a P100.

Keep in mind a P100 provides superior protection but can make it hard to breathe, especially for those the lung problems. There are other options for people who need them--PAPR respirators.

You should have eye protection as well.

If you take care not to contaminate your living space, always use your P100 respirator, wash your hands--you probably won't bring the virus home.

Trudeau is a liberal, not a communist. You're misinformed.

It doesn't matter really since there won't be enough to go around for a while.
It's the hard way to cure stupid, but hey.

We don't know what long-term effects may be. COVID-19 is less than a year old.
If enough people are like you and refuse to take the vaccine, we won't get to herd immunity, the virus will circulate, a lot of over-50s will continue with reduced spending, and the economy will remain in a recession.

What do you think government will do when it realizes people aren't getting vaccinated? You'll have to show proof you have been vaccinated to fly, take public transit, attend school, and so on.
    Won't go down that way.

Could be, but I think he would cook his political goose. He lost his job because of his wrongheaded response to the pandemic.

You're not very smart the respirator in your picture is one I wear for work. It only filters air coming in not going out.

If we can remember what a mask is for it's to prevent other people from getting your infection such a mask wouldn't do that. Soon in the future I think before you post or at least know the half of what you're talking about.

Sanders isn't a real socialist. He gave up touting collective ownership when even Russia and China acknowledged it failed.

I don't expect you would have read my other posts where I made the very point you're making about valved respirators, but you went too far.
Who says a mask is primarily to protect others? It depends upon what you're trying to accomplish.
You might have a go at not making ASSumptions.

I was referring to the mask people wear that don't work in the ICU
