I hope you realize that if they start closing grocery stores, that you won’t be getting any deliveries either.

Sure, right along with everyone else. You can forget prompt deliveries though.

I'm crossing it now. And it sucks. It would be barely palatable if it was an effective countermeasure but our numbers have not gone down.

While I tend to agree with you about closing grocery stores, the measure isn't whether or not "our numbers have gone down" but whether or not the numbers are lower than they would have been.

It takes a while, but you're right it's everywhere in your state.

If you were to rank buckets of water based on the size of the hole the water leaks from, ...

Your question was based on a false premise. Do you want your freedom taken in nibbles or all at once.

It's the premise you've stated lol? I'm just asking to elaborate on your premise by ranking instances of government overstep by severity and you won't

And I answered truthfully. For the sake of discussion, lets call mask mandates a low level of overreach. It is still part of a cumulative total. An increase of .01 degree of heat doesn't boil the frog.

It's just baffling to me personally that the mask would be what sends people over the edge given all the other clear instances of overreach is all I'm getting at.

You can pick any of the overreaching mandates. It should be baffling as to why people would tolerate government imposing on our lives over a 2% risk of death that mostly affects the sick and elderly. When I go on hikes with my dog, I am never within 10 feet of another human. Please explain how imposing a $300. fine on me benefits society?

Its baffling that fishing permits or death taxes or seat beat tickets or wheel taxes building permits for your own property or the patriot act barely causes a blip on the radar but a mask becomes the end of the world......

    It makes no logical sense

All I asked is for you to explain how it benefits society.

Fishing licenses make sure everyone has access to fish. The benefits to society is equal access and sustainability.

Death tax is double dipping. That money was already taxed. No benefit to society.

Seat belt laws are overreaching. If you don't want to wear one, just sign a DNR order and please donate your organs. I see a benefit if the driver is transporting children. Kind of like helmet laws. Its your head!

Building permits make sure your home doesn't doesn't fall on my home or catch fire due to poor wiring. Society benefits from building permits. (HOAs are a different story!)

Now moving the goal post back to covid mandates. I take long walks with my dog and never get within 10 feet of another human. How does imposing a $300. fine on me benefit society?

The existence of illegitimate legislation like the patriot act exists somewhere in a bureaucratic ether. A person does not know that his communications are being intercepted and logged.

In the case of a mask, a person must wear it on his face. Depending upon the mask, he personally experiences the hypoxia and hypercapnia.

    Can you see the difference?
