Ha! That's hilarious! Do they send anthropologists in to study the natives?

I listened to the second episode: "Flyover: What is the 'real' America"

Total leftist BS. Host Kerri Miller kept referring to "the myth of American meritocracy", and "the myth of 'real America'". At one point she said middle America invoked the "....image of a small town in middle America full of hard working folksy Mayberry-like people. Those people in real America according to this myth usually aren't black or brown, didn't come here from somewhere else, they don't live in cities, and they sure as heck don't listen to public radio or read the New York Times".

The entire episode was dripping with contempt for "middle America". Guests were clearly selected because they were far left from big cities controlled by the lefties, and promoted the usual extreme left issues, focused on poor people, minorities, and lack of healthcare.

Total BS. Its a crime tax money goes to NPR.

Enjoyed it? Not as a radio show, it fails in its stated objective to present opinions from "across the aisle".

But it is interesting as Keri Millers bias (and contempt) for middle America is so plainly presented. She thinks she is reaching across the aisle, it looks like she honestly believes that conservatives are rare and the entire mythos of conservatism is a political scam. Its rare to see such a brainwashed person on display so openly.

The latest episode (yesterday) did not even pretend to be related to "flyover country", the host just dropped any pretense of interest in middle America / conservative / flyover point of view.
