Anyone surprised, the environmental wackos got it wrong again as usual. just like with the spotted owl or that all of the polar bears were have supposed have drowned by now in the Arctic.

Liberal greenies are the biggest polluters.
Liberal greenies are the biggest liars.
    Liberals politicize everything with lies.

When you see someone driving an electric car give them a dirty look and flip them the bird.

    That's hilarious!

We now, once again, have more information to prove that these alarmists make up crap as they go along.

I still think EV's are great for the simple fact that you don't need to waste money on gas but this whole better for the environment thing is just stupid.

Could it be that Germany thus far has made little to no progress n producing electric vehicles??A little sour grapes jealousy??They are not saying the EV's Pollute they are saying the mining of the Lithium for the batteries to power the Ev's pollutes. The production of the electricity needed to charge the batteries is going to occur anyway, as we all use electricity to power our daily lives.

Man's attempt at fixing things has often been flawed. Who cares, we only have 11 years 9 months to go. Two years three months from now I am buying a Ferrari and a large ranch all with a ten-year balloon payoff.

When you look at an electric car in particular the batteries you see a lot of plastic that is manufactured from oil.

When you look at the electric motor you see a whole lot of copper and (rare earth) magnets . It takes a whole lot of energy to mine copper ore and to manufacture copper conductors. Takes more energy to mine rare earth.

How many times have we seen studies that say eggs are good for you. Then all of a sudden studies show eggs are bad. Then good. Then bad. Then...well you get the idea. Or maybe you don’t.
Same for coffee, wine, and on and on. And yet here are some people taking this one study as gospel. Too fcuking funny.
And for the record, I wouldn’t drive an electric car if it was given to me free. Figured I would put out there to help people avoid embarrassing themselves making silly ASSumptions. Have a nice day.

I'm old schooled, it has to be a big gas guzzling internal combustion engine.

I'm so old schooled I prefer dual quad carburetors.

I only care about having a pickup. Don’t care about any dual quad stuff. Just give me a truck.

The Chinese so far are far more accepting of electric vehicles than Americans have been.

Unless you live in a Greenie area, then electric utility rate prices are through the roof!

Better to waste money on electricity, is it?

I don't know, I don't own an electric car, is it more expensive?

I would definitely buy a Tesla if I had the money though.

I could always plug it into my neighbors outlet unlike sucking on a hose to steal his gas.

I don't like to suck on things that leave a bad taste in my mouth though.

Is this more of that fabricated silliness that conservatives are so well known for?

The efficiency of an electric car is lower than a gasoline auto because there are line losses between the generating plant and the charging station.

Duh, the emissions created to drive EVs are in addition to what is "going to occur anyway"

Well, plastic is routinely recycled now, and lithium ion batteries are too.

Now, put that motor blowup next to a blowup of even a relatively simple internal combustion engine.

And you’ll almost never drive an internal combustion engine a million miles. It will be common with electric cars,

You might get a million miles out of the motor, but the rest of the car will wear out long before that.

Gosh, and the article didn't mention all the CO2 from the combustion necessary to provide electricity at the recharging stations and at home.
