Is there any indication that the Dayon shooter was politically motivated? If not, it doesn't matter what his political views were.

 

Not true. There were TWO sides protesting -- one side wanted to get rid of the statues, one side wanted to keep them. You seem to think it was white supremacists only vs those in opposition. Not true. There were people there protesting who supported keeping the statues and were NOT affiliated with any neo nazis. SOME people on BOTH sides of the protest WERE very fine people. He never stated that neo-nazis were very fine people. He simply refused to lump everyone associated with supporting keeping the statues with the neo-nazis, or to lump the peaceful protestors who supported removing the statues with those who didn't remain peaceful. If you have a quote from Trump stating that some neo-nazis or white supremacists are very fine people, post it. I've never seen one.
