    Not at all. Resolution 242 allowed the Security Council to fulfill its obligations under the UN Charter. The Zionists are still acting illegally by just by being in Palestine, let alone transferring populations. Under Article 51 the Security Council already took the required necessary measures. Israel's rights under Article 51 have expired;

    You're done. So is neoZionism's policy of theft and expansion. Find a legal cause. The world considers the neoZionist hobby-horse offensive.

    Its about politics not race or enthnics, Palestinian propaganda lies to correct a wrong in their eyes and Israel claims to tell the truth to justify a wrong. we are where we are because we are all human and would do the same if fate placed us on the other corner, what we need are leaders that can raise themselves higher than normal behaviour and find a way to make an agreement, and that's the easy part...

    Still, we are killing each other because of human nature not because one side is a monster, if you can understand that you will be a better person - no joke.

    Don't forget UNGA Res 181 was a proposal wwhich was subject to further negotiation for which it appointed Envoy Count Bernadotte , who Jewish Terrorists - Yitzhak Shamir, - promptly murdered when it became know that his report wasn't entirely in Zionist favour and they weren't getting ass much land as they expected.

    from the late NYT foreign affairs columnist C.L. Sulzberger’s diary, A Long Row of Candles:

    August 24, 1948

    On July 22 Bernadotte told a few people confidentially in Rhodes that he foresaw the following ultimate solution for Palestine:

    There will be a Jewish state, no matter what else happens. Its boundaries will have to be radically altered to proved a more compact and workable state. Its Arab neighbors must be given an ironclad UN guarantee against any move to expand.

    Bernadotte was murdered a month later. So much for a compact state and limits on expansion. Israel got the Negev and much of Jerusalem.
    ===
    It had been only on Nov. 29, 1947 that the U.N. General Assembly had voted to partition Palestine into Arab and Jewish states. Yet, as had been widely predicted, that action had led to war. Fighting intensified after elements of five Arab armies moved into Palestine the day after Israel proclaimed its establishment on May 14, 1948. Bernadotte's first action had been to arrange a truce, which lasted from June 11 to July 9.

    During the lull, Bernadotte had put forward his first proposal for solving the conflict. Instead, it was to seal his fate. Bernadotte's transgression, in the view of Jewish zealots, was to include in his June 28 proposal the suggestion that Jerusalem be placed under Jordanian rule, since all the area around the city was designated for the Arab state.4

    The U.N. partition plan had declared Jerusalem an international city that was to be ruled by neither Arab nor Jew. But the Jewish terrorists, including Shamir and Menachem Begin, the leader of the largest terrorist group, Irgun Zvai Leumi—National Military Organization, also known by the Hebrew acronym "Etzel"—had rejected partition and claimed all of Palestine and Jordan for the Jewish state.

    These Jewish extremists were horrified at Bernadotte's suggestion.

    By July Sternists were already threatening Bernadotte's assassination. New York Times columnist C.L. Sulzberger reported meeting with two Stern members on July 24, who stated: "We intend to kill Bernadotte and any other uniformed United Nations observers who come to Jerusalem." Asked why, "They replied that their organization was determined to seize all of Jerusalem for the state of Israel and would brook no interference by any national or international body."5

    Are you referring to Britain's transferal of its L-of-N Mandate for Palestine to the newly-formed United Nations in 1947 ?

    In a sense that's not really the point. The issue is why the lack of transparency and accountability. What is he hiding and why?

    And here I thought the job of a mayor was to concern his/herself with the city in which they were elected. What the hell does a mayor have to do with any foreign country? It is a local job.

    Well, there ARE still more Jews in NYC than in Israel.

    And I'm sure the NYC Brigade of the Israeli Army will conduct itself with honor.

    Can you tell me why this board has such a large contingent of Nazis? Jew this, Jew that, Jew the other. Hurricane wipes out entirety of United States and there would be two threads in Current Affairs and US/World News atop it about some pol saying Good Morning to an old Jewish lady and how dare he show such favoritism in not officially wishing Good Morning to the entire Palestinian population.

    Well, if the list of the Chairmen of the Federal Reserve looks like a guest list of a Jewish wedding and the Vice Chairman of Federal Reserve is the former governor of the Bank of Israel, then it is no surprise that the rank and file American politicians have to be loyal to Israel... if they want to survive as politicians.

    Whoever controls the FED, controls the USA and the entire western world.

    He who controls the gold (speak the money flow) makes the rules (via Hollywood, mass media, ethnic lobbies, dominance upon the Ivy League, the Supreme Court and even the direct bribery!).

    JFK was the last American who tried to be loyal to America, and we know how his political career ended!

    We've identified the concrete document "The League of Nations Mandate for Palestine" and it was the initial plan you asked for.

    ....and that view is expressed in the Israeli press. AIPAC is NOT the universally-popular repository of jewish aspirations that you might think.

    They are at war and a nation at war frequently occupies enemy territory.

    If so then why were there still Palestinian attacks? Seems to me they did not fulfill their responsibilities hence Israel is free to carry out thier own actions to fulfil their defense.

    Really. Strange, they keep getting attacked by suicide bombers, kidnappers, rocket attacks and marauding terrorists.

    >>>MOD EDIT: INSULT<<<

    There is no war. It ended in 1967. The 40 year occupation is illegal and has been so for 40 years, and the UN agrees. Your primary benefactor, the USA, also condemns Israeli illegality in this respect, and has said so publicly. Only Israel and a few lonely (paid, for the most part), apologists remain attempting in vain to convince the world Israel is doing nothing wrong. You're losing the battle.

    Please provide the name of, the place of signing, the participants and the terms of the peace treaty signed with the Palestinians in 1967.

    Please provide proof that the occupation is illegal.

    And your primary benefactor, Hamasbara gives you a continual stream of faulty propaganda.

    Now please, return to your cell leader and request the name, date of signing and the terms of the 1967 peace treaty between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
